The ratings for American Idol must‘ve been high when Hulk Hogan appeared on that show. Who knows if anyone in the audience or anyone watching the show thought for an instant thought Sylvester Stallone was going to come out on the stage when the theme song from Rocky 3 was being played,though very briefly?

The hell with all you Hulk haters. The man is a legend! Sold out arenas around the world. People that don't even watch wrestling know who Hulk Hogan is and his popularity is still huge around the world.

Totally awesome. Was nice to see all the surprises in tonight's show. Probably the best season of American Idol ever... Throwing away the rules, and letting all these talented kids doing what they are there for... Singing, and most of all FUN!

Man this just goes to show you how much Hogan has impacted American Culture. No other superstar (outside Cena and Rock) can come on a show that is NO WHERE NEAR the same as wrestling, and make THAT much of an impact. Racist or not, Hogan gets the job done when you need him and God give him time to heal his wounds for what has happened in 2015 alone. We don't need to lose another legend as big as Hogan.

Hulk Hogan is the biggest reason why there is a wrestling as big as it is. actually in my opinion its not as big as it use to be when hogan was around. wwe.....need to take care of that dude and say thank you for putting wrestling on the map.

Hogan is the reason we have an industry today. He is the single most influential and popular figure in sports entertainment history, bar NONE. The end.

As a TNA fan, I'm proud. I might not have been born in the Hulk's Era, but on I'm glad to see him kick ass on Impact.

I remember years ago, he was on CNN (Larry King I believe), somewhere in the late 90's, and I was one of the people who called in to ask him a question. But I never expected to actually get on the air and talk to him live. In 1 second every question I ever had in my mind to ask the Hulkster vanished, and I was at a loss for words. But at one point I just asked him something, which is, to this day for me, the best question I ever asked and I got a great response.

The American idol fans probably thought for an instant that Sylvester Stallone was going to appear on that show,hence they heard the theme from Rocky III,which was Hulk Hogan's movie debut.

What a surprise it was when Hulk Hogan made a guest appearance on American Idol and the theme song of Rocky 3,Eye of The Tiger,which used to be played as Hulk Hogan's entrance song,was chosen to be heard that night.

That was a great moment for American Idol! James Durbin is my favorite for this season!

When Ryan announced that Paul and James were not safe i was saying: "That's Rubbish, That's Rubbish" just like Fred and George Weasley in Goblet of Fire, when Barty Crouch announced that underaged students won't participate in the Triwizard Tournament. When Hulk came out i was giggling at James's reaction, it was cute. When Hulk announced that the two were safe I was like Hallelujah, and it was funny when he knocked Ryan out, even though it was an act.

Pretty sure because the WWE owns the song and Hogan is and was in TNA at the time. Eye of the Tiger was his original (and best) song he came to the ring with. Real American was written for Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo originally

When I first saw this when Ryan told James and Paul that they weren't safe I was shocked that both these amazing singers of the season were in danger of elimination I said: "That's Rubbish, That's Rubbish" (Just like the words Fred and George Weasley said when Barty Crouch told the school that people weren't allowed to enter the Triwizard Tournament under 17) and when Hulk announced both men were safe I was relieved 😅🙏💙🐯👊🎶🎤🎸
