This type of video definitely needed a refresh with all the new changes, so way to jump on it so quickly! The Platinum card is still on my list to get one day, but it isn't as urgent for me as it used to be anymore. Great video all around Kevin!

Travel a ton or just somehow make it work with the credits yes!
I am firmly on Team Travel and am hoping to accelerate my travel experiences over the next couple years, so I definitely plan to add the Platty as I move up the CC Ladder with my CC Strategy. Like you said though, there are a ton of Credits on the Plat, so it's definitely more of a hands-on approach to maximize the Credits on the Card. The upgrade to premium class definitely seems like a good use of the Airline Fee Credit, I already do so sometimes on Alaska to begin with! Great video as always Kevin!

Yeah that little bit extra can be a nice bump in comfort during those domestic flights! And hey the new Centurion is also pretty nice at SeaTac
Similar situation here in Canada. There is the Amex Cobalt which has higher multipliers on everything compare to the personal platinum card. That's why I prefer the business platinum over the personal

The Amex Cobalt is an amazing card for the Canadian market, especially when cards overall are pretty subpar vs. the US market!
When spending on the entertainment credit, if you buy like ESPN+ & it’s 14.99 let’s say, do you still get $20 credited for the month or would it only be $14.99?

You'll get any eligible amount "credited" to your account up to $20! So if you only spend 14.99, you'll only receive 14.99

You need to get the Charles Schwab AMEX platinum 1.1 cents per point. Still not a good value but adds flexibility if you have more points than you know what to do with

Yup exactly! It's still possible, but unfortunately it now counts as the "same card" when it comes to the welcome bonus rules though...
I don't have the AMEX Platinum card yet but I definitely want to add it to my setup in the future!
