💔this is not true history of Eritria.It is anti Eritrians history,Eritria has many good historys you kann faund from Google or true Eritrians the President is Hero for Eritrians🌹💞.

Eritrea has always been under constant threat which is why everyone is deployed at a certain age. Now I may not agree with it but our neighboring countries are not really our allies at the end of the day (including western countries). Also we were not Ethiopians who got our independence and now call ourselves Eritrean. After World War 2, Eritrea was "GIVEN" to Ethiopia. Our people fought a hard and long war against Ethiopian government because during their colonization we were stripped of our rights, our culture, and our dignity. A lot of the tragedies you hear about happening in the region of Tigray, they did to us for well over a decade. A lot of Eritreans do not appreciate being called Ethiopians or being told we're the same because it cheapens the sacrifice our mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, grandparents made for our country and their families to be free from the Ethiopian cruelty that occurred during that time.

What cruelty? The only time in their miserable history Eritreans have been treated as human beings was when Eritrea was part of Ethiopia during the 50s-60s. After WWII the populace of Eritrea actively struggled to unite with Ethiopia. IA has done a much better job than the previous Ethiopian governments when it comes to the stripping of Eritreans rights and human dignity. Since independence and continuing. The conditions in Eritrea might not be great right now but it’s a million times better than that. Don’t cheapen Eritrea’s Independence and the lives sacrificed. Extremely disrespectful.

Serving in the military, similar to that of the Nigerian NYSC where graduate are mandated to serve in the paramilitary (NYSC) for one year, use to be for the purpose of defending the nation in terms of war and all that (the NYSC members would be drill by military officer for 3 weeks) then after it now a process of unitying the whole different tribes in Nigeria someone who's from the east, and school in the west would be posted to the Northern part of Nigeria vice versa.. in other to learn about folks from different tribes & culture.. (trust me aside these paramilitary service that's kinda compulsory for graduated youth folks wouldn't be interested in trading to other 36 states in Nigeria (and the govt also get to pay the youth while at it)

ALL I have to say, is the visitor in this clip said Eritrea made enemies with all their neighbors, that is completely false. He had the golden opportunity to ask about what precipitated the so called border dispute with Ethiopia, and how that differs from Yemen. As for Sudan, the then leader Bashir who was a crook, worked hand in hand against Eritrea with the then ruling terrorist kleptocratic group in Ethiopia, the TPLF, who were the cancer in the Horn and slaves to their Western masters. There's a lot to unpack re the TPLF, but with the US ongoing involvement in Ethiopia, with successive regimes bowing to the West, Ethiopia has not had a leader that can save them from all their misery, despite God having blessed them with a beautiful and rich country. The only country in Africa that boasts never to have been colonized, is Africa's beggar nation, has debt that's monumental, have the same sick expansionist desire, and a false sense of who they really are because the West's narrative kept them at war, hungry, poor, and unnecessarily entrenched in wanting what's not theirs. It's shameful and sad, but I pray they will see the light and grow a spine!
