He acts just like my Samurai. It’s amazing how similar he is. Even the whining. Sam gets so excited when I get home.

Akita are amazing dogs, they are intuitive and affectionate but also independent and incredibly clever.

If I ever get a big dog, I'd love to own an American Akita. They just look like the perfect cuddle pets.

+Kaleo Yamane males don't like to cuddle females maybe do, they need a strong owner and owner who will teach them bad and good things they get attached to owners like that to weaker part they don't plus they are dangerous dogs big and are strong breed so you have to teach it from pup age to be around other dogs they don't like small dogs maltese etc dobermans are different all you have to do it go outside with the pup be around dogs socialize the doberman before it grows fully up you can have massive big problems if you don't teach your dobie to be nice around ppl and other breeds cuz ...im telling you you don't want to have aggressive dobie.

***** My dad's friend owns akita and a male his friend told him them my dad told me that they are really big and strong dogs so i decided to take a dobie since they are easier to train ^^;

Thanks for the advice regarding Akita's queen val & Chris. I've owned a medium size bull terrier dog and he passed away close to 18 yrs. I was only 16 when I first got him and raised him myself but knew zero about dog training so he was a handful. I would say I know tons more now but still sceptical about getting an Akita in near future. I have a family now so that is a factor in bringing such a strong dominant dog into household. When time comes, my choices are guard breeds. What are your opinions on bullmastiffs or Rottweilers? I like boxers but they're high energy dogs, I prefer a breed that is more subdued. Thanks

I never wanted to record mine ...((it was bad enough just seeing his face from the window😔.)) & I would try to not excite him before I leave...not saying it was done here. Don't make a big deal leaving....just leave. Akitas are just too emotionally connected to the owners and they are just too big to be taken everywhere. 😝. Wish you a long long happy life Archie.!🍶🍻

Cute & Beautiful Akita, but so sad he misses his owner. I'm glad I work from home, so I can be with my dog. I would miss him like crazy if I had to go into work. Nice Video Though!

Ggarderob how can you avoid it when people are scared of a bear dog? I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes because I have to go to work! They don't want him there because of the way he thinks he needs to protect me.... I have done more than any video or trainer I have ever seen. Some people just don't understand Akitas! if you yourself have one then your either living off money, work from home, or are able to bring your Akita anywhere! How can you tell someone what to do with their animal? You don't know this dog! From what I know about my own Akita this animal is perfectly fine! I have a 10 month old American Akita and he has been so well trained that it's amazing to see! Wait until I decide to put up my videos! Don't leave him alone... Please??? You must have a half breed or beat your dog into being frightened!? This dog is awesome! So is mine. I'm saying this because nobody else has. What can you do when you're left with no other option? Call you? Never.

There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. The Quran (Al-Baqarah,163) مَّا یَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمۡ إِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ وَءَامَنتُمۡۚ...
