I'm on the airplane right now and I am getting ready to travel to Dallas
what could be more exciting than another MD 80 flight ! , a classic example of American engineering and reliability.

Enjoy the last flights on these birds. Always liked how low they seemed to be off the ground. Like the 732.
I'm going to really miss these planes. I always chose seat 30F when I could on American MD-80's. I was glad to fly on one of the last Alitalia MD-80's when they were being quickly retired. The AA and Alitalia livery looked perfect on these planes. Other than a woman moaning in pleasure, MD-80s engines are one of the best sounds in the world! I flew on a Boeing 717-200 today yet the sound wasn't up to par of the MD-80!
Great video of a quickly disappearing classic! I managed to snag a booking on one this coming Saturday... IAH - DFW. Short, but still a treat these days considering there's so few left.

Captain Cooper i wish!👍Really bad april for AA's MD-80's one is retired and AA HAS STOPPED SERVICE TO ORF! On their Maddogs! 😱😖👎RIP 😰😭😩😫😓

Riley Railfanning and Aviation Damn that sucks. ATL doesn't seem to be getting them right now. AA's Maddog schedule to ATL has always been weird
