Just used main cabin extra. Free drinks and was upgraded to business twice on full flights. Nice job American Airlines.

@1:35 You also get free spirits. Usually one on two hours flights but you can ask for more on longer flights.

Main Cabin Extra is totally worth it, did it from BWI-CLT on the 737-800. Love the additional leg room. If AA didn't ban alcohol sales like they're doing now, it would've been perfect!

you get free alcohol as well, not just extra leg room. Totally worth it.

I have BA Silver (Oneworld Sapphire) status so have main cabin extra seat without extra charge. It's good to see in your video that there is a significant increase in legroom.

Delta gives free WiFi and Comfort Plus also gives you free premium snacks and alcohol. Just used it LAX-MCO. Well worth it for a 5+ hr flight. I’m flying MCE on an AA 777-200 DFW-MIA this summer. I’m hoping it’s worth it.

Yes, you are right, I forgot about all the extras in comfort+! And I think it is worth it for the right price. It's a lot better than United's economy plus and American's MCE

So I have an upcoming flight in March. I want to.do main cabin because its cl ok se to door because of my connection time. And with my route from Cleveland to Charlotte to baton.rouge it looks ok

Informative video but I had to keep turning down my volume in between comments because the in between music was much louder than the talking. Would have been better without the music, if I had my choice. Thanks for the info though.

Hey Tom sorry for the late reply. The window is a little misaligned in 9F but for me it wasn't a problem. You should still have a great view in 9F!

I'm 6'5. On anything over an hour, Main Cabin Extra isn't even really an option, it's obligatory.

I’m 4’11 lady and still like more leg rom 😂

do you think for a 10 hours flight it will worth it ?

I think you'll be ok. But you can ask for a seat belt extender it needed. I asked and the flight attendants were very nice about it

Sound is so loud compared to speech!

Honestly - buying your own food from outside and bringing it in is much better than eating their crappy sandwiches so I don't mind paying an extra $60 for extra leg rooms and bringing my own meals and snacks
