And invented the missiles also! The problem for Germans was this jet planes and missiles came way to later in that war and we all should be happy for that though! Germans were fighting against the, Brits, Americans, Russians and French rebebels and with the sabotage of others countries, one being mine (PT) And even so, they managed to holding on for a long time and cause a lot of casualties! Now imagine If the mustache little crazy guy had at his disposal a huge country like Russia or the United States and with the same amount of citizens as those countries to put them to fight and with those Inventions from the beginning of the the War! My God the world would be lost! Sorry for the poor English, cheers!

However, Japanese military, scientific, and government officialdom seems to have believed that the US would not succeed in fielding practical, working weapons before the war then being waged came to an end. There were several probable sources for Japan’s general knowledge of the existence of the Manhattan Project. The first was an observation by the man most responsible for the launch of the Japanese Army’s own nuclear weapons effort, Lt. Col. Tatsusaburo Suzuki. In his report summarizing the survey he conducted in 1940 to determine the feasibility of a Japanese atomic bomb project, he noted the disappearance of articles on nuclear fission from US technical journals, and concluded that this likely meant the Americans were already at work on The Bomb. Forget watching it, imagine how you'd feel being the pilot. Imagine flying piston aircraft your entire career, and suddenly flying this thing. You'd feel like you'd walked your entire life and just learned to run.

@@nathanbasset The videos arent fake, there were a lot of cameramen on board of bombers to capture what was going on, during the end of the war every big bomber formation had a camerman for several reasons. Its not a rare case that 262s were engaging bombers, they could climb up faster than any other plane at its time, the only thing even faster at climbing was the 163, but the 163 didnt have the even close to the same endurance.

Except they DID know it existed, Frank Whittle, a Brit, invented the Turbojet engine and had prototypes flying as early as 1941, And the Gloster Meteor entered service on July 27, 1944, about two months before the Me 262, so they knew about Jets. Whether every single airman knew who knows, but the Brits used their Jets to train American air crew and fighter pilots in tactics to counter the German jets.

Like nuclear weapons dropped by Americans

@@rudramahadev22 The Japanese govt almost certainly knew that the United States was attempting to build atomic bombs. Did the average Japanese citizen know about the race for atomic weapons?, almost certainly not, but the Japanese Govt did.
