All three of these dishes are completely different. I love Churrasco, but it is like comparing apples and oranges. Churrasco is cooked over a hot fire while American BBQ is slow roasted and smoked for hours. The quality of the meat in Churrasco is actually better than BBQ. BBQ is making a tough cut of meat delicious by the slow smoking cook. What is shown is Carolina BBQ. Just like in Brasil where you have different regions of Churrasco, it is the same in the EUA. I prefer Texas BBQ or Kansas City BBQ. A real amazing BBQ dish is brisket (peto de boi). Slow smoked for 10-12 hours it is a lot of work... Muito gostoso.

Usually while serving American BBQ they serve not only pork ribs depends on what type of ribs you use but also long beef short ribs, brisket, pulled pork and sausages, as for side dishes it can be any side dish you want but usually they serve potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, or corn bread or even some burger buns to make sandwiches for the meat. And the meat is made in a smoker that takes a really long time to make depending on what type of meat you use and the cooking time but the benefit of using a smoker is that the meat gets a smoke ring meaning the meat is infused with that smokey flavor and that bark you get on the meat very delicious.

@@MikaeruDaiTenshi in the video it's pork and the style of ribs look like baby back ribs covered in bbq sauce it's always done on baby back, St Louis, and spare ribs. If it was beef there would be plenty of beef on the bone and it's never covered in sauce because while the beef ribs are smoked they get more tender and juicy just falling off the bone and it doesn't need sauce when its just so juicy and tender with a smoke ring indicating that it was smoked for a long period of time.

Churrasco americano é costela, hambúrguer e salsicha. Gosto da ideia da costela com o molho. Realmente eles capricham. Por que a Coreia não morde o sanduíche, gente? haha Nunca entendi essa mania de ficar com boca cheia!

Not a complete Brazilian barbecue, though. Rice, farofa, molho a campanha, mayonnaise salad and garlic bread are super important. Actually, basic. But I've never tried churrasco and feijoada together LOL never seen that

The best Texas BBQ is the slow cooked brisket. Ribs are good too when done right and fall off the bone but a step up is the brisket. Nothing anywhere compares. Yes all food is subjective but I have seen countless Mukbang videos where people around the world have tried it and it seems to be unanimous. I haven't had it in many years but I think I will seek it out for my next night out.

As an Asian American who worked all over Brazil for 6 consecutive yrs and married a Brazilian, I have eaten each countries BBQ in their own country. While Brazilian BBQ is fantastic and the quality of meat is extremely good, the problem I have is how they cook it as a lot of churrascaria's and family/friend gatherings cook the meat well done (bem-passado) and have difficulties cooking the meat medium-rare as there is no word for that. "Mal-passado" translates to rare and "passado" translates to medium. So telling them to cook something in between mal-passado and passado is hit or miss. Have to go with slow-cooked American as the winner.

The issue in representing American BBQ is it all depends on the region if it's beef, pork or even chicken as well as the time of year. However a well rounded BBQ will have both beef brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork and chicken and then there are the sides which many are contributed by guests and being chosen to bring one of the sides is an honor and recognition of your cooking skill within the group or family.

In North part of México we have barbacoa (that is like a really wet meat that you left it cook for a couple of hours with spices and tomato pure, Pato sauce other stuff) and we eat it with bread or by the side with pasta and beans, normally we serve that in partys But what I saw in the video we call it Carne Asada=Gilled meat And we eat it making tacos, and we don't need a special event to make one 😊

Is that gochujang they put on the Korean bbq? I got a bottle of this stuff and it's really good! Mix some tuna, gochujang and mayo together then serve it over rice with some kimchi and top with green scallions and crispy fried onions? Mmmmm Perfection! My kiddo got me HOOKED on it. Super simple, cheap and it makes for a great meal any time. Heck, I bet I could make up ramen noodles and just stir it into them. If you don't like fish or are allergic, then go and used canned chicken if you want.

I like to have grilled vegetable with my bbq, like grilled squash and zucchini, and grilled onions. I would eat all of these types of bbq and I would be very happy. I do think that Korean style bbq would be the funnest version because you can cook the meat with your friends and while it’s cooking have some soju. You can really make a night of it.
