America's Ohio-Class Submarines could Bring the End of the World

Ғылым және технология

America’s Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarines are some of the quietest, stealthiest submarines in the world. The Ohio submarines represent America’s ace in the hole, megatons of nucl3ar firepower quietly patrolling the world’s oceans, ensuring that any nucle4r attack on the United States will not go unpunished. In addition to the fourteen ballistic-missile submarines, four have been converted to missile carriers, capable of unleashing more than 150 conventionally armed cruise missiles against the most heavily defended of targets.

    Rambo Tolero That way of thinking is totally obsolete. Ever since 1962, official planning doctrine has recognized something called MAD (mutually assured destruction). The mere existence of an opposing country’s retaliatory response is so terrifying that nobody dares to start a nuclear war. That’s why nukes are classified as strategic deterrents. They will deter any sane adversary from starting a no-win war. Even more true with SLBMs roaming the oceans with long-range missiles with MIRVs and decoys. The bio-warfare currently underway in March 2020 was an attempt to escape retaliation having plausible deniability, blaming it all on infected bats. It’s a joint venture of Globalist deep state elements within US and China. But it’s already known who invented the virus. There are remnants or artifacts of gene-splicing within the genome that prove its manmade origin. The globalists made a very stupid mistake. Now they will pay.

    The Titan missile launched by the American Ohio-class submarine flies at a speed of 7,500 mph, which is a hypersonic speed.The United States has more than 6 Ohio-class submarines in undisclosed locations around the world. There are at least 2 ships in the South China Sea. Each Ohio-class submarine carries 24 intercontinental ballistic missiles, and each missile can carry 21 nuclear warheads. Each submarine can attack 504 targets with nuclear warheads. So the United States calls the Ohio class (The End of the World) doomsday submarine!

    I don’t wish to be rude but Ricky Young your numbers are so far from correct I don’t even know what to say without sounding rude so I will say simply-you are extremely incorrect!!!!!!!!!. Each of the originally configured 18 OHIO’s carried 24 missiles. Each missle carried 8 (as in EIGHT MIRV dial a yield war heads).Dial yield warheads means the force of the explosion could be varied depending on the target and the amount of force needed. Furthermore 24 missiles with 8 war heads or MIRV’s equals 192 thermonuclear devices NOT 540 per boat!!!!!Following START II and other arms reduction treaties, the first four OHIO’s were converted into SSGN’s meaning they now carry a mixture of TLAM’s etc... Although they could in theory carry the TLAM-N they do not per treaty protocol. Of the remaining 14, 2 are usually in refit and the remaining 12 carry out our deterrent missions. 9 are based on the west coast and 5 on the east coast. In theory the original 4 which are now SSGN’s could pick back up the nuclear role if they carried TLAM-N’s. However due to the extreme reduction in range between a Trident II D-5 vs the TLAM-N they would be at much greater risk than their younger sisters until our adversary’s navy had been neutralized enough to allow them to “safely close our enemies shore to launch their massive payload of TLAM-N’s. This is of course theoretical as they and all US subs no longer carry TLAM-N’s due to treaties. Moreover, due to treaty, the remaining 14 OHIO’s no longer carry their maximum potential load of 8 thermonuclear MIRV’s on their 24 MIRV’s due to arms reduction treaty. So please do learn your facts as no “Boomer” has ever carried 540 thermonuclear devices! The OHIO’s were tops when they carried a full load of 8 MIRV’s per each of their 24 missiles, thus equating to 192 MIRV’s per OHIO in their earlier years. With the targeting accuracy of the OHIO’s Trident II D5 MIRV’s, 192 MIRV’s meant 192 large cities, military installations or hardened military installations destroyed-enough to destroy any nation on earth. NO OHIO COULD HAVE EVER CARRIED 540 MIRV’S!!!!!! P.S. I did not proofread my response. Anyone who served in the military who payed attention especially when TDY working with another branch and wanted to learn from the other branch they were TDY with could learn a lot. Does this make me an expert? NO. However, I have been on a BB, CCG, DDG, SSN and SSBN. I challenge you to not take what I say as true but to get some books-preferably from the USNI Press and read about these amazing ships and boats. If you do this you will learn what I did the young men and women who man these vessels to keep our country safe are more amazing than the vessels upon or within which they serve!! Without a crew a ship or boat is just a bunch of metals and other materials.

    All IS true! Realize that this is 40 year old tech/armament. And... NOTHING goes 40 years without being upgraded/advanced! Public disclosure is always years behind current capabilities... always! Remember when the US dropped one bomb on Sadam Hussein's 130 foot deep, concrete reinforced command bunker? We knew the depth. The bomb's Op Specs were calculated to penetrate to that depth and through the material specified. Hardened nose cone. Delayed detonation. How about rear detonations to hammer it in if detected depth isn't reached, but speed is reducing? An order was placed to a "black site" and the bomb was assembled from parts setting in warehouse storage... on the shelf! Now that you know the origins, when do you recall first hearing about the MOAB (Mother of all Bombs) or Bunker Buster? Years later? 🤯 Interesting side note... An order was placed for a second one because it had never been used before. We needed confirmation that it performed to it's requirements. That second bomb was dropped in our desert with a granite subterranean structure that closely resembles reinforced concrete. A robot was sent down the resultant hole to confirm the depth had been achieved. 😁 Wanna really bake your noodle? Ever hear of Reagan's Star Wars initiative? High powered lasers from space? Repeat bomb number one, but place a nuke warhead on it. Detonation occurs at some x number of feet. What would happen to the walls of the detonation chamber under such extreme heat...fuse into glass? (Think mirror). What are some properties of glass? Reflection? More impervious to heat? Point a laser at a mirror...does it melt...no. Does the chamber get created uniformly, equally in all directions? Would that make the walls concave in structure...similar to a radar dish? The dish curvature is designed to collect scattered energy across it's entire surface and reflect it to a point just in front of the dish. Look at your satellite TV dish. So...now drop a second nuke down the same hole. Is it conceivable that the released energy would continue to bounce off the wall surface until escaping through the entry hole? That energy would be in the form of...light and heat, possibly fusing the shaft wall structure? Serving as a focusing technique? But what good is it to have a high energy "light" aiming into outer space? What if a satellite with a highly reflective surface "dish array" was parked directly above? Could that satellite be slightly shifted to "bounce" the light beam somewhere else? Back to the earth's surface? To another satellite further around the globe and then deflected back to earth? 🤔 When was Reagan president?

  • @MrFlatage

    4 жыл бұрын

    @Brad Brad You speak of hate when the truth is weakness for the entire US military. No American speaks out against truth and fact under the red, white and blue. So you hate America. And you hate capital letters and coherent sentences even more, lol! Agreed where is your accountability? Ask not what your country can do for you. Now go ask yourself what you can do ... for your country? Maybe first ask a American what that is about. ;-) Because you cannot answer that question is probably why the US is like it is. Where were you during Katrina when your USN ran and my ship and crew sailed through a active hurricane saving American lives? Where were you during Sandy? My answer is simple. Me and my King sleeping in a ditch during Puerto Rico cos homeless Americans slept in our tents. If you cared you would have been there. If all you can do is hate on America? You did nothing to help. So let us hear you answer the call or ... avoid and deflect when accountability comes to your door?

    @Brad Brad Haters will hate yes. You ramming all caps failing a 1st grade written test cannot be blamed on some device sorry. Remember it's called the US Constitution. Clear hate on American since your words get capital letters but American and the US Constitution don't even get the respect they deserve in capital letters. And I agree because you and many others do not care it was up to me to save the real Americans in their dark hour. Grow a pair of care balls and go enlist instead of whining like a snowflake, lol!

  • @rpbajb

    @rpbajb

    4 жыл бұрын

    Ballistic missiles launch into space like a rocket, reach about 1000 miles altitude, then fall to the target unpowered on a ballistic trajectory. Cruise missiles are more like aircraft, they are airbreathers, subsonic, and usually attack 'nap of the earth' to evade radar.
