Would there be a difference if instead of the xfx I used the powercolor rx 6600? I am using the integrated graphics of the 5600g and I want to take the leap, since in games like CS2 and Fortnite it is falling short (and who knows, maybe play GTA VI in the future 😳)

Hey there, well, "switching" from XFX to PowerColor for the RX 6600 might not result in a substantial difference in performance, but you might notice differences in temperature (not big) ;)

I have a Kingston A2000 M.2 - 1TB (with 250GB for the system and the rest for media and other stuff) + Seagate Backup Plus Hub 10TB for work, media, and other related files. I just do the 'install-test-uninstall' operation, which is a very professional way of benchmarking games on limited storage :D hehe As for internet connectivity, I have a 250/25 Mbps connection with a ping of around 8ms.

so far the ones I've seen at 30 fps or lower are always the poorly optimized games...this is actually a nice budget rig

Hey bruh, thanks a lot for your kind words I really really appreciate it :) I was using Adrenalin version 23.5.2 (16.06.2023) along with slightly older versions for certain games during the recording. So far, I haven't encountered any issues with the drivers. I use this build (5600G + RX 6600) for gaming, work (programming), editing, recording, and rendering, and everything goes well. The Ryzen 3600 is a great choice for its price, especially when paired with an RX 6600 XT (if the price is reasonable). You can find all the information in the description below the video. Ya sure thing your gpu will be compatible with your mobo without any issues ;) BTW both the mobo and the gpu utilize pcie 4 (5600g supports pcie 3 only but do not worry about it). What the performance on cod warzone 2.0 in 1080 p, fasr/cas disable, all setting on minimum? When I put everything at extreme, the game uses 100% of the GPU and gives me 75 to 90 fps. However, when I set everything to minimum the gain is small, around 10 fps, but the game only uses 50-60% of my GPU, in this configuration. Could you test it on yours and give me feedback?

Hey there, well, this card is great for 1080p gaming. Since 1920x1080 is approximately 75% of the pixels of 2650x1080, you may need to lower graphics settings a bit to achieve at least 60fps in most modern games. For instance, if a game runs at 100fps, you can expect around 75fps on an ultrawide monitor.

I have the XFX model of the RX6600 and my juntion temps are really high, depending on game and Room tempreure it can reach 98c at times.

@@RamiTestsGames I bought my xfx rx6600 2nd hand and when I test to see the junction temp it usually is 20% percent higher than the main gpu temp. But when I repasted the thermal paste the main gpu temp and junction temp are closer now. I also undervolted it a bit.

Hey there, these issues can sometimes stem from AMD drivers. I'd suggest uninstalling all AMD drivers and then downloading and installing the latest versions from AMD's official website. You can also use the cleanup tool available here - www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601

Hey there, absolutely! I would grab the 5500 (or the 5600 without the 'g' - depends on your budget) instead if you are buying a dedicated GPU. You can also choose the B550 for PCIe 4.0 support, but keep in mind that you'll need at least the 5600 or higher for full PCIe 4.0 support. Again, it depends on your budget ;) We can discuss it here if you want :) Regarding bottlenecking, it largely depends on your use case and the specific games or applications you plan to run. In most scenarios, this combination should work well together without significant bottleneck issues

Hey there, the 4600G performs roughly 10% slower than the 5600G, but it also boasts around 20% better power consumption. So, overall, the performance will be quite similar :)

Hey there, yes, this PSU should handle it even if the GPU is designed for a minimum of 500W PSU. You should be good. ;)

Hey there, if you're planning to get a dedicated GPU, consider the 5500 (similar to the 5600G but without iGPU) or even the 5600 (without "G"), depending on your budget. This doesnt look right, all other benchmark I see of Hogwarts legacy and RDR2 are above 60 fps, almost 70fps

Hey there, thanks for letting me know. It's been a while since I tested the game. Perhaps the developers have released some compatibility improvement patches along with the AMD Adrenaline SW updates. Also it depends on other things (stock, OC etc...)

Hey there, yup, the 12100F performs better than the 5600 in terms of gaming and is cheaper! The difference is around ~5 - 15% in FPS (depends on a game).

i want buy this gpu for ryzen 5 4600g, it'll be same perfomance as 5600g or will be bottleneck? and i just have 500w psu is it okay for running this gpu?

Yup, a 500W PSU will handle this GPU without any issues, but make sure to get a high-quality 500W PSU, like one from Seasonic

Hey there, I use low profile cooler Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 chromax black and I dont have any additional fan in my pc case :) Also this cpu can handle 95°C ;) BTW, I do not overclock. I test the stuff on stock settings only :)

Hey there, well, it depends on many things (budget, power consumption etc...). So in general both CPUs are excellent! If you prioritize having iGPU and don't plan to get a dedicated GPU immediately (or just want to have iGPU on board in anyway), the 5600G might be the better choice. But if you're looking for raw CPU power and are prepared to invest in a separate GPU, the i5-12400F could be the way to go ;)

Hey there, ya sure. As long as you use a mobo which can support memory of that speed (with the exception of A320 mobos and a few low-end B350 and B450 mobos , most AM4 mobos can support 3600MHz RAM) ;)

Hey there, bruh! What's the price difference? Here, it's almost 120€ :D If you have a budget, I would go with the RX 6600 instead. Otherwise get the RTX 4060 (you can buy better CPU later e.g. 5700x or x3d). Just FYI, the CPU 5600g has almost a 25% bottleneck if you pair it with an RTX 4060.
