Can we skip hcl step to directly dissolve all base metals in 70% nitric acid leaving gold foils to be filtered ..then treat them with aqua regia? If we should not skip the step please explain And please let me know if we should heat the hcl to remove tin/lead solder?

The step can be skipped, but we will have a problem with methacetic acid, which clogs the filter.

Save your copper II chloride and use it instead of AP so you don't risk what Scrap that with Matt said. The H202 is only need to get the reaction between the copper and the HCL started then the copper chloride will break the rest of the copper down. But if you already have some stored up you can ruse it indefinitely.

is it even worth doing the other part without pins
