Ich lach mich schlapp. Eine Handvoll Widerständler macht eine Abteilung in Zugstärke nieder ohne selbst einen Kratzer abzubekommen. Erinnert mich stark an die Altwestern, wo bei jedem Cowboyschuss 5 Indianer vom Pferd fielen.

Nice action scenes but not very believable. The heroes take out 20+ armed German soldiers and not one of them even gets a flesh wound?

In this movie is a scene with Bundeswehr camouflage German soldier posing as Waffen SS ones.

Seems a little umtralistic they shoot from.hip and hit their target the Germans miss every shot

Amazing mate! 0:06 How firm our buddies look! 0:42 This scene makes me feel at ease. The partisan trap? Ha, how dare the partisan attack such a powerful convoy? Side by side with so many elite brothers- Nothing to fear, right?

Yes, the pair at 0:06 and the truckload at 0:42 look invincible! But they say pride comes before a fall and this is a case in point. What have they done to our men mate, what a massacre! Not one survivor!

The only thing to fear would be that you won't get to die with all your buddies. When soldiers get to be the target of a bullet frenzy, any real man doesn't wanna feel left out. It's an all-you-can-eat bullet buffet, and no one's going home hungry. Except for maybe the killers, because we all know their appetite for filling guys with lead CAN'T possibly be satisfied.

I just hate seeing at battle that is always one sided.

The main problem with this scene is it lacks any emotional high or low. It’s just stuff happens. All the Germans are shot whilst miraculously none of the ‘good guys’ are. It’s poor visual story telling.

Love the suspense and anticipation of a well-planned ambush, especially when the attackers have machine guns and endless bullets with which to carry it out catch the enemy napping, then gun 'em down before they get the satisfaction of knowing they're about to realize a manly death. Screw "don't fire till ya see the whites of their eyes." Empty your clip into anything that moves, and then reload for some target practice on the dead. In short, if a man's upright, put some bullets in his belly until he's not. He expects it, you want it, and it's meant to be.

But once a machine gun and a full ammo clip is in the hands of a man born to fight and die, his lust for lead is irresistible, and bullets become his best buddy. He squeezes off round-after-round until it's his own turn to catch a belly-full and fulfill his mission in life. A match made in Heaven that ends in Hell... the guns of war and the men destined to put them to good use.

Together, we understand it's the price to pay for fulfilling a real man's destiny. Like us, they know that soldier meat is nothing more than fodder for the weapons of war. And the cycle is not complete until fighting men share in putting the guns and bullets to good use. So join me... as friend or foe... in the locked-'n-loaded manly art of war. It matters not which side we're on... only that we experience the bonding of bullets and bellies in a testosterone-driven fight to the death.

probably... which registance ? which country ? europe probably, guys using Thomson M28 probably, another one with a garand... and some waffen SS in a vehicle wearing the "Gross Deutschland" white helmet ... that division at that time still based on the eastern front ? please guys, try to make something more credible !!!!!

First I thought it was the more famous Allied with Brad Pitt lol 😂 😂 Regarding ambush scenes I think you told me that you never planned to load the ambush of the Ukrainian SS scene from Holocaust as you never found it appealing!

It's the scourge of modern war films - shaky camera syndrome. Directors seem to think it adds realism to the scene, almost as if you are there in the middle of it. Perhaps it does. But it makes it bloody difficult to watch!

@@foreverblueclassics EXACTLY! Many war movies... especially more recent releases... incorporate this technique. And rapid panning as well, not focusing on a scene long enough. You're left with nothing more than a glimpse at what you really want ti see... the perfect pairing of bullet and belly at the moment they unite. SO FRUSTRATING!

I think the main problem is the 'muricuhn writers, directors, producers, actors and other assorted cluster-B personality disordered idiots who think a sniper would watch a target for almost 60 seconds and only chamber a round in his rifle once the target is close enough to hear it 😉😉😉 No wonder (AT ALL) that video games took over the entertainment industry, Mario can challenge you without constantly insulting your intelligence (because the writer has none...)

they should have had more close-ups for the ambushed german troop :D
