I dislike when these games become period pieces but nothing is period-accurate or is an edge case because it was still in prototype phase. Like why do I have an AUG in the first BlOps game in Vietnam but not a Swedish K or Owens gun, actual guns used by special forces during that period? As for optical sights, we really should have Occluded Eye Gunsight red-dots or bulky solar-powered reflector sights like the Kern or Weaver Qwik-Point instead of see-through holographic red dots, which didn't appear until the 1990s. OEGs would be hilarious because you had to keep both eyes open to impose the red dot into your vision, so it would look weird in a FPS.

The OG Black Ops had some anachronistic sights too, but at least they looked conceivably like something that would be fielded in the late Cold War. The ones in CW look way too modern.

В реальности проникнуть в главное здание КГБ такими примитивными методами было-бы не возможно. Даже если представить что дело дошло до перестрелки, на помощь к КГБ была бы подтянута ещё и Милиция со спецназом КГБ, (альфа и вымпел например) главных героев бы просто подавили огнём и расстреляли. Даже если представить что шалость удалась и они вырвались из логова КГБ (а это уже огромнейшее допущение), на дырявой и расстрелянной машине им бы не удалось добраться до машины-сменщика, милиция к тому моменту перекрыла бы все пути отхода а на хвост плотно сели бы злые от такой наглости КГБшники. Покинуть Москву главные герои смогли бы только в виде трупов.

Some of the campaign missions in this game were so so But damn this is one of the best missions in all of call of duty.

I like how in the lobby with all checkpoints passed, soviet soldiers still terrorise civilians like this is their only responsibility. For me CoD become trash after MW3 and new parts are just some stereotypical TV show where America blame other countries in US doings and trying to justify some parts that can’t be denied of US guilt.

I don't understand why the developers wouldn't hire a native speaker to voice the characters. The accent is simply awful and ruins the immersion in the game. Some phrases are constructed incorrectly.
