I actually looked up what the white tulip means in flower language. What most sources I've read seem to agree with is: - White tulips represent purity, serenity and forgiveness. - As a gift, white tulips symbolize a sincere apology. - White tulips can be used at funerals, where they are a wish for eternal peace. - According to a superstition, dreaming of white tulips means the dreamer is about to experience a new beginning.

Man I’m such a sucker for this kind of music. It walks the border between calming/ unnerving, familiar/unnatural, comforting/concerning,lonely/free and despair/peace in a way nothing else can. It feels like a an old friend that reaches through my skin into something buried deep beneath in a way that almost hurts but also doesn’t? It’s a warmth that spreads through my whole body while also making me feel strangely close to crying. It’s some weird cathartic paradox that I live for. It makes me feel alive just as much as it makes me feel disconnected and for reasons I can’t explain (as if anything above makes sense either) it feels nice. It’s almost hesitant in a bizarre way but I love it, I love weird/dream core in general. This playlist perfectly describes one of my favorite parts ( I almost want to say sub-genres but idk)

Omori, yume Nikki and silent hill 2 are my favorite psychological horror games they told a very compelling story.

a couple months or so ago, i remember always waking up to this music in the early hours of the morning before college. pinned to the bed, thinking suicidal thoughts, feeling close to death and far from reality, but still feeling peaceful at the same time, like i was with a friend in some eternal place. i was huddled in the covers, with my eyes closed. i felt both warm and cold, like when you run hot water over your hand and quickly submerge it in cold water. i had a headache, but it felt as though it was eating my thoughts, like my brain was deteriorating. i still feel that way but that was the worst it had ever been. its a strange feeling to have, even though physically you are healthy, you can feel like you're dying just from the thoughts you have. just wanted to share the comfort this music provided me with.

You're very strong, as long as you're alive there will always be hope for a better life. I feel your pain and I hope you're trying your best to feel good again, sometimes life can go down so deep that we let go of a positive perspective completely. Just remember not to blame yourself and do the best you can to look up instead of down. I'm glad you're still alive, please take care of your brain, that's the best or only thing you can do.

I'm dating this girl it's been 2 months so far its been nice but she keeps getting upset yelling at me for stupid small reasons she always raises her voice at me using me as an emotional punching bag its weird- she changes so much 1 moment she can be so loving so kind so nice and next its like im not even talking to the same person she isn't bipolar or anything like that i try to help her I try to listen and engage with her as much as I can but It never seems to work and I don't know what to do I want this relationship to work out but I guess I'm starting to see cracks already lol graduating this year too I got alot on my mind having my mom gone and my father be a heavy drinker I never get much time of peace I take care of my sister and my grandma whom is ill and sadly reaching her final moments alive im just writing this not because I think many will see this nor do I think people will show sympathy its just im feeling surreal right now I don't have many people to talk too about my feelings and right now it feels like the worries the stress of day to day life can just be dropped even if its only momentary I hope whoever does read this has a wonderful day stay strong

I love this kind of music, it feels like being im a safe room in a horror game but irl, a place where you are away from all the chaos where you can rest, meditate, gather your energies and remember/ find out what your purpose in life is and that everything will be okay in the end if you put in the work. Its beutifull

It was nice listening to this while making instant-noodles a bit past midnight and then eating in the dimly lit kitchen. This music is strange and I like it. When not being in a scary situation (like in the games) then this music feels peaceful. To whoever is reading this: take care.

omori - undertow gives me such a calm yet sad feeling, idk how to even explain it, it feels like ur at a point in life where yk u cant go back but ur already here at this point in life

This has been my study music since last year and its one, if not, the best study music I've ever listened to. It's not overly ambient and it's droning and headache inducing, but it's also melodic and soothing enough to make it feel interesting.

Thank you for this mix. Since coming across it, I have listened to this as background music or for sleeping more times than I can say. It has brought unexpected solace into my world. Has a great flow. THE ANGEL THAT PRESIDED OVER MY BIRTH SAID, "Little creature, formed of Joy and Mirth Go love without the help of any Thing on Earth."

This compilation is so perfect. I've tried to mix it up with others but the specific feeling of your picks and their sequence calms my brain like nothing else. This mix has been the perfect sleep aid for me to drown out apt noise as someone who adores these ambient horror/indie osts. I often play silent hill 2 music if I, ironically, need to calm down, but the extra irony of drifting off to sleep to the music of yume nikki fangames - and the fact that it works - never fails to make me chuckle. Maybe I should start keeping a dream diary in case it sends me to ~the dimensions~
