i mean, it's not her lawyer fault that this case is impossible to defend. she get paid by amber heard to be her lawyer. she would take every possible way for her client to win the case. including hiring maybe "biased" witnesses. that's why cross examination is required as bringing biased witness like this is pretty common in court room. i fully blaming amber at this point as her lawyer just do what a lawyers do.

Amber probably lied to her lawyers as well. Even though I think some of the questions seem comical, I really feel that the lawyer was just trying to do her job. It's not like the lawyer and Amber are friends. Amber will blame her lawyer for losing, because Amber is never going to admit that she's wrong. I feel like she's actually a good lawyer; there's just not much to be done when your client is AH. I sincerely hope for the best for AH's lawyer team because, at the end of the day, they're just trying to do their job. Giving them a hard time for struggling with this case is, honestly, like giving a cashier a hard time because their management makes them enforce bad rules. Its not the cashier's fault that the manager has hoops to jump through; its not really the lawyer's fault that their client was terrible. I feel awful for her lawyers... If you don't know how much you paid for a bag of chips, and I ask you "was it 100,000?", your answer won't be "I don't know". Because you know that you didn't pay $100,000 for chips. Even if you don't know the actual price. You will only answer "I don't know" when the price is plausible to you. Like "was it 2 dollars?" - "I don't know". 200,000 seemed plausible to Dr Curry, and she started saying "that would be way too much" only at 300,000. There’s a massive difference between intentionally committing perjury and genuinely forgetting something until a later point. And when lawyers try forcing you into only answering with “Yes” or “No” responses, you don’t always have the luxury of being able to say, “Not that I recall” or something along those lines. Yep we might not remember dinner last night if it was a cheese sandwich watching a football game, but if you had dinner with a Hollywood celebrity last month try telling me you wouldn't remember it. This woman Dr Currie did not impress me at all. Her first answer that she had "no idea" how much she was earning out of this is implausible. She is a professional with a charge out rate and she would know what she charges per hour or per day. In the eyes of the judge she would have come across immediately as evasive. And to then say she "couldn't remember" if she had a drink, and "couldn't remember" if Johnny Depp spoke directly to her, is just as implausible. Depp didn't win the case because of this witness, Amber Heard lost the case with her own behavior in the box.

Then when faced with all the evidence that their client has been bold faced lying to them and the public now they’re scrambling. Elaine was here trying to catch Dr. Curry in a lie or trip her up because it’s been so easy for JD’s team to do that exact thing to Amber and the rest of their witnesses. She’s just getting out what she wants to say and doesn’t care if it helps the case at all, at one point she just skips over her own incoherent question when Dr. Curry asks for clarification of what she means because she can’t trap Curry into the answer she wants. I’m currently studying my master’s in psychology and I’d just like to make this clear: psychologists do not need to be board certified and rarely are. This is a requirement for a psychiatrist, as they are considered doctors. So a psychologist being board certified or not means absolutely nothing in regards to their legitimacy or knowledge.

  • @Anirita

Yes, it is true. Psychiatrists absolutelty need to be board certicfied as they study MBBS (Medicine) and then do pyschiatry as residents. So they are Physicans (doctors). Whereas, Pyschologist mostly don't need a board certification because one can be pyschologist by studying psychology as bachleor and masters and attain a doctrate (DO NOT need to study MBBS/Medicine).

How in the world did this woman get a license to be a lawyer? I'm sorry, but she infuriates me so much lol. Dr. Curry, on the other hand, is an absolute queen i love her! edit: THAT being said it's just an opinion so please don't take it seriously. I am sure Elaine is a great attorney, she just took on a bad case with a bad liar. God bless everyone.

not taking heads side but the meal dose bring up some red flags 1) it took place at his home usually a meeting like this would be at a office 2) there were drinks involved that makes it come across more social 3)Depp was present as to make sure that the other lawyer cant say that he didn't win her over or influence her

That's about it too. Everyone who has dealt with people with BPD, HPD, or narcissistic personality disorder sees all the signs from beginning to end. It wasn't that bad in the beginning just seemed like over acting but at then Vasquez came into play and rattled her. That's when Amber really came out. Then the second time she lost it. She became the "monster". The narcissism showed hard as did the sudden mood shifts. She couldn't hide it because she was focused on the lies. Mrs. Vasquez was rapid firing questions and the lies were becoming jumbled and she slipped up letting the real Amber show.

Either this woman is a complete fraud or she's incompetent! A checklist is not a test and giving the client a cheatsheet is no way to get to the truth of the who, when and why of the abuse a pathological liar like AH alleges. It is wrong on so many levels because with the standardized Danger Assessment, she actually wrote Johnny's name down on the form as abusing AH in 2019 when he hadn't even talked to her since 2016. This woman needs to be investigated! What if someone else she's had a relationship with since Johnny abused her?

When you have an important appointment with some others, that takes couple of hours, isn't it normal to give your guests something to eat and drink? And because this was in the evening they make it 'dinner with Johnny'? That's insane! Some lawyers are not so smart.

She's trying to use Camille's style and failed miserably. She's just rude, pathetic, and desperate at this point. She wasn't ready for any of the answers the witness gave. Short on time, but asking 2 minute long questions that were previously answered and reciting procedures. SMH
