appears to be few people outside the main towns....just checked and found that the population is under 30million for a country with an area of 587,000 sqkms - almost 2½ the area of UK. seems that around 70 percent of area is agricultural, and 20 percent is forest. are large corporations buying up land to grow/export vegetables to western countries? are the chinese buying farm land there and inducing the government to borrow for infrastructure projects? Love your vlogs - you have a natural talent to make the videos interesting.

I bought a farm for 10 cent a meter but not many people buying land for farming . The Chinese buy land to grow an oil producing palm / cactus type plant 🪴 they have took over the vanilla trade they have the government contract to fix the roads they are well involved in fish 🐟 export wood 🪵 and stone

Why don't European tourists go there in the northern winter? In SE Asia/Thailand the tourist season is December to March.

I would guess its because its a poor country so you get a lot for your euro its also hot most days even if its raining some will have friends that live here or family. In toliara its hot as he'll all year round. Hotels and flights will be cheaper in the rainy season

@@passivenomads Being in the southern hemisphere, there is some climatic inversion with Thailand, which is totally dry in winter. I guess the Frogs don't always like rain!

The trick is to spread-bet or trade contracts-for-difference. Then you can make money as the market goes up or down! My dad bought 'unit trusts' in the UK in the 1970s and lost the lot as the market was in a downturn and he didn't understand. The broker never loses, or cares! The Nasdaq has been rising since new year 2023; Dow falling. Pick your index carefully.
