Hi pal There's no Mastercard in Madagascar to buy things it's best to use a visa debit card in the many ATMs I would take out 800,000ar in one go about $190 this is Enough money to keep you going for 3 days to a week There's no need to bring cash but if you do want to bring cash bring euro big bills You will need €35 for the visa in the airport, I keep €80 on me most of the time when travelling.

Hi Bill i've been offered the posability of renting a place in Ambataloaka. Would you recomend this area? I'm looking into it now to see how far from shops, beach, hellville, and how good the mobile phone coverage is for Internet access.

It’s a good area but it could be noisy with bar music it’s by the beach and shops. Hellville doesn’t matter its a city to visit now and then

Lol illegal fuel ⛽️ station lol they siphoning for real out there . I saw normal ones when I was there last June an of course people try to self serve you at the pump haha. Yeah I agree with the export rules I looked those up before I left the country . Sounds like you might need to buy your car elsewhere than import it.
