Your demonstration of this product was the best I could find on KZread. This was my first time using this little circular saw. It's pretty awesome!

Exactly! As with most tools, it has its applications. Since I predominantly work with wood, it’s useful to me.
Good overall view of the tool. Thanks!

Looks like you solved the problem! Yeah, mine is without the accessories, I’m gonna see about finding them online.
Interesting. I have the shorter version. Good piece of equipment
Any tips on using the rip fence that comes with it would be great.

That's the one thing I'm no help on, mine was a display tool and the accessories were missing when it was given to me. I'm going to see if I can find a replacement online and if so, I'll do a follow up video.

@@Jennyfromtheshop thanks! I usually use a tape measure from blade and just set it. The rip fence guide seems off and hard to read.
Hi Miss DeWalt! Do you think that the compact saw would be able to cut through a bamboo countertop? Or a regular particle-board style countertop? I want to try to cut down a bigger piece of counter for my very small laundry room myself. I currently only have a mitre/chop saw, and a jigsaw, neither of which would be useful to cut wood counter with. But I was thinking of buying this tool if I can use it to cut the counters. And for future projects of course! Let me know what you think?

Hi Christina! This should be a good candidate as long as your material isn’t thicker than 1 9/16”. I believe that’s the maximum depth for a straight cut. Since getting this, it’s my preferred saw because of how light and easy it is to use.

@@Jennyfromtheshop thanks so much! The counter is 1.5” so hopefully this will work! Picking one up later today :)

@@Christina_De_Melo It might just work. Let me know how it goes.
The "Allen" Wrench or Hex Key is 5mm .. like most circular saws the hex screw is LEFT HANDED and the washer, or "blade clamp" has two flats and is marked with arrows for tighten and loosen .. EDT: As Jenny says so in the video :) As she says the blade diameter is 4 1/2" (115mm) and the ARBOUR Hole is small 3/8" (9.5mm) ... keep this in mind there are LOTS of blade 4.5" / 115mm blades with arbourt sizes from 1/2" up to 7/8" that won't fit! Dewalt does not recommend Saw Blade Bushing to adapt over sized holes (and most experts agree :) on this small 9.5mm arbour hole ... I don't mean to indicate the small arbour is in any way negative in this application .. it actually helps increase blade stiffness on these thin small diameter bades.
Can it cut tiles, mozek, metal if we change to diamond blade?

Is it the slide on type? If so, I believe it’s compatible.
I purchased the tool only and it didn't come with the dust port adapter. Does anyone know the part number?

My question is, should there be any wobble of the blade once it's attached to the tool?

No. Is the blade on tight enough or is something bent?

Hi Patricia! I mentioned the kerf indicator around the 2 minute mark. If you’re just freehanding it, you look down through the little notch. If you want a precise cut, you can use a straight edge clamped down. Measure the distance from the blade to the edge of the shoe plate. Pay attention to if you’re cutting right down the pencil mark or right/left of it. Hope that makes sense.
