Amazing VEGAN Drunken Noodles Recipe | MY Favourite Noodle Dish
Today's video we'll be showing you how to knock a VEGAN drunken noodles out of the park.
This is my favourite Thai noodle dish, and to be honest there are so many recipes that are watered down or missing ingredients.
This needs to have Prig Thai Sod ( young peppercorn), krachai, birds eye chilli and of course basil, Holy basil if you can find it, or Thai basil, or at a pinch if you cant find either of these you can use sweet basil aka Italian basil.
▶ Recipe
Use about 100g of fresh flat rice noodles or 100g of dried flat rice noodles.
4 Stems of young peppercorn
4 Pieces of krachai thinly sliced
20g Broccoli
20g Long beans
20g Red, yellow and green peppers
20g White onion
20g Baby corn
1 Tbsp vegan Oyster sauce
1 Tbsp light Soy sauce
quarter Tbsp Dark soy sauce
Pinch of sugar
1 Stem of Holy Basil (You can substitute with sweet basil)
For the stir fry paste: • Thai basil chicken glu...
But make it not as smooth and pounded as the link
4 Thai bird's eye chilli
3 Cloves of garlic
A dash of black pepper
▶prig thai sod

▶Krachai

As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance. If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chilli instead of large sweet chilli. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Thank you so much Sue, I hope you're well. We've just posted a video on Namprig gapi which is a essential sauce of Thai food.
Wonderful! And thank you for sharing the vegetarian oyster sauce you use! I love that the amounts of the sauces are small unlike what most youtube channels show. This shows that bringing out all the subtle flavours is what makes a dish taste great!

Is it recommended to only use fresh green peppercorn or can you use in brine?

Hi there, thanks for watching, I've never tried the version in brine. Is it young peppercorn? Try them, but give them a good rinse first. Should be fine.
So who is the random british white guy on this channel? Does he actually even know the cook? at the moment it looks like he's just stealing the chef's content for his own channel
