Working with slippers right next to the glowing hot steel rods! Unmatched level of work safety.
Can we just appreciate for one second how situationally aware these workers are
An yes, Pakstan rebar, the basic raw material for so many top quality products, hammers, nuts, bolts, precision surgical instruments the list goes on.
This video should be labeled as How to survive an unsafe working environment. God bless and protect all this worker's 🙏
Pretty cool process despite it being hot and dangerous.
самые трудяги ,как на любом заводе ,охранники с начищенными ботинками в конце😂🤦
That truck at the very end wasn’t massively overloaded. Or was that just the first pickup for the day?
Man, these fellas work their guts out.
Love the hand unload at beginning, no dump trucks allowed.
интересно было бы посмотреть, как эта арматура проходила бы советские ГОСТы по твёрдости, диаметру, кривизне стержней. Не говоря ни слова о технике безопасности и охране труда само собой.
Nice video

"green deal"
how badly this people get scammed for their scrap metal? for amount they bringing they should make fortune. is at least £150/t in UK and this truck should be carrying at least 20t
I am afraid of splashing shit thats on fire
Reckon the British left that plant behind as obsolete when they pulled out in the 1940s. Dangerous, unproductive heap of junk. I've worked on 70-ton arc furnaces doing the same process as this - we were cranking out 70 tons of steel every 35 minutes with a ladle steel making furnace the caster was running 5 strands of 150mm x 150mm billet continuously. The Indians seem to think it's a matter of pride to use ancient equipment with inefficient processes whereas in reality all they are doing is exploiting a massive labour pool.

The country is Pakistan.
I wouldn't trust this rebar.
Does this rebar go right next door to be made into bolts?

Nah - it's for concrete reinforcing. I doubt that plant tests for chemical composition or physical properties so it might be a gamble whether the buildings which use this rebar are any good.

@@charlieclelland5895 I was kidding... There are videos of them making bolts out of rebar, its an interesting cycle
Nice to see 21st century AI being put to good use. 😮 At least they had shoes on. 🫤
