Shells from the beach. Get ones that are broken and straight. They make perfect daggers down into a substrate to hold the vegetables.

I feed peas to all my fish..Goldfish, mbuna, guppies (I mash them a bit)..endlers and my mixed tropical tank. I use frozen peas. I just leave them in a cup of hot water for a few minutes, I always shell mine (just a squeeze and the insides pop out) as I have read in several places that some fish have difficulty digesting the shell....I would love to use repashy to make a big mix...If only repashy was not so expensive in Australia..and we dont get the full range.

Hi Zenzo, Thank you for all your time and energy put into the making of a fantastic channel. Well done... I was just getting set to make my own prepared cichlid food. Before I start, I have a couple of ideas that I thought I would throw your way first. What are your thoughts about pre blanching the zucchini? What about summer squash?Cucumbers? now you can get the seedless ones? De-shelling the peas? Broccoli and should I blanch it first? Last question. I noticed at Bed, Bath, & Beyond they have little silicon mini ice cube trays. If I pour the mixture into the trays (assuming I blendthe sheets of seaweed in the mix with the veggies). Would you feed the cubes frozen or thawed out? lastly, I was also thinking of putting in a couple cloves of garlic? The rest of the ingredients are the Rapashy, cichlid veggie pellets, and one protein.I guess that is a lot of questions... Woops...I want to do it right the first time and all this runs around in my head... HELP ME, PLEASE!Just kidding, I was even thinking about weighing everything so it is consistent each time I make it. What are your thoughts please... Thank you sir. -Steve

And this video uses Repashy, so I will purchase this today. A side note, continue wearing shirts like that. You are a beast!
