I used to clean houses when the owners moved on and I would clean up and make it like new again. For the next people. It was such a good job and I loved it so much but I work so hard on so many houses that it made me too tired. I did this for many years until I was unable to do it anymore. But if I could start another life that is still what I would do. Then three years ago I lost my youngest son to a bad driver. There was no reason no excuse that he should not be here today. And anybody that he ever met he touched their hearts he was a good man. I went into 2 years of deep depression and what brought me out of it well most of it was my daughter came over one weekend and just started cleaning dusting from top-to-bottom cleaning walls cleaning under Furniture straightening Furniture throwing things away. When she left my heart was lifted so much. And it started me on a road to doing my other things and keeping them up. Before I just did not care I live alone hardly ever get to see anybody and I was always so sad but that day something changed and every day I'm better. I'm sure that's how people feel when you leave Barbie and I hope you know that you are loved

You can't please everyone all the time. You do your thing. If you lose a few haters I'd call that a win. Your channel will still grow. You are a hard worker and you make miracles happen. Do what you do. Thats what we are here to see.

I called them haters too but I actually think that's not fair of me. We can't hear the tone of people's voice and text and it may just be a simple comment. Sometimes I think I judge too quickly

Unfortunately life isn't all sugar & spice - wish it was. I take the good with the bad. I would prefer everyone treated me super nice all the time but life doesn't work like that. Sad but true. 😬

I now clean my stove top every other day and clean the counter every day after watching you clean kitchens. Thank you for sharing your hard work.

Thanks for helping them out. I retired early and started repairing all the things that needed repair and after seeing you do the cleaning I decided to put off the repairs for a few weeks and do the deep clean, purge and sort of the house. Fortunately I didn't need to hire a cleaner to help deep clean the house. I was fortunate that the house was basically clean but needed cleaning behind things and a purge of things I don't need. The house is now done and back onto repair projects on the house.

Girl!!! Stop apologizing for so many things. The changes you make and the help you provide are invaluable. What you do in such a short amount of time is AMAZING! What you do is AMAZING! I clean for a full time job (40 hrs a week) and it is physically demanding. Like you, I find it rewarding. I've done what you do and I know the toll and the reward. I commend you. No one can ever say you're lazy. Thank you for what you do...stop apologizing for it not being perfect or for the time you can spend there (said with love).

Don't worry about the stove results- they were pretty good! Most people will understand about prioritizing time with your family and the demands on you as a mother and wife... And respect you for having the devotion to these things! It is a significant assist o the people you clean for even if the time must be limited: the results are still inspirational and an act of pure kindness and realistic help. I am sure your "clients" would not complain as they survey the amazing change you make in their homes. It is all for good! What you do is very valuable to the recipients and to those who feel motivated as they see what you do.

You do enough, more than enough actually. Most people aren’t willing to lend their time for free cleanings, especially for homes in these conditions. Do what you can when you can, I’m sure the families you help appreciate it ❤️

Really appreciate your help. Looks like my mother's kitchen. She has 4 full sets of dinnerware. At least 2, maybe 3 sets of pots and pans. All that crystal-like stuff that will never get used. 4 pyrex measuring cups etc, etc. She's having difficulty keeping things tidied up. I said, "Mom, you live alone. Why not donate what you don't need??" She just wouldn't hear of it. So exasperating.

Love the volume of the music on this one but more important is I love what you’re doing! I agree, the owner has to do something to contribute to the clean.

Not only do I love your work and admire what you do, I admire that you know that your family time is important too and knowing that it’s ok to do what you can in the time that you have. It’s ok to leave things for the homeowner to finish because hopefully they feel that they are part of the process

I love kitcen cleans the best. When my kitchen is clean, the rest of the house is just a matter of picking up and wiping off.

It would be super nice if they'd get more shelves installed. Would help a lot with getting everything better organized, maybe even more counter space. 😊 she has a lot of cookware. I love those big ole pots. Seems as if before the stress and grief, they enjoyed cooking a lot. Hopefully, this helps and they can use it as a way to "breathe".

When my husband was a child of 8, his mother suffered from depression, anxiety and psychosis. He had to do the cooking, cleaning and laundry on his own, besides school. He was proud how clean their home was. The ladies from welfare office always went away with no complaints. Otherwise they would have taken him from his mom and put him into a children's home/orphanage. Btw his mother never changed within the next 60 years. She ruined his life and mine, too.

I like the music, and I really like how you narrated what you were doing the whole time. I think most of us like to hear you talking all the way through the video. It’s very nice that way. Those of us who watch you all the time understand that you are only here for one day and you do everything you are able to do during that time. This is what your channel is about. Realistically getting done what is possible in that amount of time. And it’s so funny when you say, “I’m not lazy, but I can’t do everything because of time…” Oh, wow! Of course YOU are not lazy! Barbie, we can see that you clean very old, unmaintained buildings. There is nothing that can be done with stains, decades of paint build up, cabinets that are so caked on with paint that they don't close properly, radiators gunked on by decades of paint, broken blinds, etc. All of those are bigger projects (the blinds can be repaired/replaced, but that isn't what you came there for). One thing many people skip is wiping down walls and steam cleaning their A/C vents. These are huge contributors to poor air quality and difficulty breathing. But again, that is a whole other project. You are an absolute angel put on earth. Please don't apologize.

Barbie - you are amazing and you motivate me - despite that my place is no where near as messy as the places you tackle, I still have been motivated to declutter and discard many things. Thank you so much for all you do to help others. I see your HEART in all you do.

Funny enough, I do similar cleaning to what you. But let me tell you, I clean all day and watch your videos all night 😆 I love to know what cleaning products & processes work for you. AND you motivated me to do some cleaning projects in MY home that I have been putting off for probably a year like my linen closet, bedroom closet, and basement. People need to understand that it's okay to throw things out and not every corner or countertop has to have something on it. Hoarding is such a problem around the world and often times its so sad how much of a negative impact it has on people's lives.

I really love watching your videos but since I'm physically limited I have someone clean FOR me. But just wanted to let you know that decreasing anxiety is a big and real thing and that's what you do for ME. Your compassion for others is phenomenal. You really ARE a sweetheart at their homes too, not just "hard". It's tough love and it's what most people need so thank you for your service. Your accent and words are so cute!!😊

I think you are doing a wonderful job by helping these people. So much clutter increases the depression, and I can relate to feeling overwhelmed with EVERYTHING! Now I am on an allowance of $75/week for myself or grandchildren. And there is happiness in beauty in your home.

I think it's very sweet of you to give your time however limited. Just a small tip if you clear off the stove and spray it with oven cleaner then cover it with plastic wrap as the first thing you do when you get there, it will clean itself while you work on the rest of the kitchen same thing with the oven and microwave. Lemon water in the microwave also works and makes it smell nice. Keep up the good work

Hello Barbie, You did a great job and was very satisfying to watch. I hope that the home owner will feel inspired to pull out the appliances and wash under and around them. Also to clean the walls. It would be good for them to concentrate on keeping the kitchen “sparkling”. With all you did in the kitchen I hope the woman feels awesome with what she sees and will want to organize her cabinets. It feels wonderful to open the cabinets and see organization in them. I hope your able to go back and tackle another room because she kept up with keeping her kitchen clean.

These videos motivate me to clean my house. I have depression but I dont let it stop me from cleaning. My worst thing is laundry so, I minimize my wardrobe so Im not overwhelmed.

Great job. Like you I move stuff off the counters to wherever I can in order to get the counter top and sink clean. Then start moving, cleaning, drying and putting away in batches. I am amazed you can go in and figure out where to start. I was overwhelmed at the start of the video (I clean as I go in my kitchen because I can't stand for stuff on my counters).
