I have so many of these beauties. You shared Joop le Bain with us years ago and I have loved it ever since. The fun extraverted girl always wearing head scarfs said she’d hunted down the fragrance for years and finally figured out it was Le Bain. That story got me. I had to see what fragrance had haunted her for so long. It is a comforting love for me. I’m a Dom Ropione fan girl and wore Ysatis back in the 80’s as a freshman in hs- so funny! That’s such a big fragrance for a young girl😂. But Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds is almost an exact clone of Ysatis for a fraction of the price. White Diamonds Night is such a comforting apricot and slight powder bedtime scent. Addictive and very different from the OG. My mom loves the White Diamonds En Rouge so much. It’s a raspberry with slight Oud and suede - I bought one for me when I gave it to her … but it’s so signature to her now. All the backups are for her😂. This is so beautiful and sophisticated. JLo Still is an affordable workhorse - so fresh and lasting for day time. Cabotine is not for everyone, but it is a very lasting green floral that is so affordable. Tocade Rochas is such a nice vanilla, creamy floral day time wear as well. I love this genre because there are truly some hidden gems that are really affordable . There's a blue one in the same collection and it smells so good! Aquatic floral. Beautiful fragrance. I wear it to bed sometimes. It's light and doesn't last long but the scent is incredible.

The entire Guess Seductive line all smell fantastic. Lasting power isn't the greatest for some of them but they're all worth it IMO. Less than $20/each.

Thank you Sebastian for this video. Réminiscence is rebottling its entire collection. Dragée is now called Macaron d’amour. I have not yet gotten the chance to compare the scents but the listed notes are the same. Mauboussin in red is fantastic.

Hi Sebastian, I got into house Mauboussin when you covered Homme on an earlier cheapie video. They really impress. Discovery is a good turn on Aventus with thyme, cardamom, leather and apple. I also bought some for my daughter. We both agree that A'La Folie is one of the best female fragrances we have ever smelled. Champagne, raspberries and caramel with some subtle rose. Champagne pops and the raspberry is so ripe and musty. It's certainly worth a mention in a future video. My daughter also has the female version of Une historie. She likes it a lot.

And DRAGÉE is also great: you have very good recommendations today, yihaaaaa!

One of my favourite budget fragrances is right there over your shoulder, Moschino toy2

I have First Snow & love it! It had to sit for about 2 months after first spraying it. Now the juice is darker & it smells so lovely.

The Laura Mericer fragrances are wonderful, fav is the Ambre Vanille. Also, Guess Seductive Red (Cherry Baccarat) is so nice for the price.

From this list I have Lanvin Oxygene which I totally love. On me very long lasting and gives the felling of having on a rich, thick and clean lotion, kind of like a Nivea cream. Also have Lalique Le Parfum (very green and aromatic vanilla) and Joop Le Bain that to me smells beautiful, like a cherry cola with vanillic and resinous facets.

Mauboussin Star is amazing too - very close to MILK by commodity

Hi Sebastian! I was wondering, how do you categorize your perfume collection? Are they divided by brand, olfactive family…? I’m so curious how you navigate through your beautiful collection and I seek inspiration to tidy up mine.

Thank you for doing this video. I watched it when it first came out, and ordered the two Victorinox fragrances for a total of $45.00. They are both different with First Snow being a warm, comforting vanilla fragrance with a fair amount of sweetness and musk in the dry down. The Morning Dew is actually quite fresh but not astringent. I enjoy the top notes of water and citruses, but the pepper, cedar and musk ground the fragrance in the dry down but with an unexpected softness. Neither have the greatest projection and are most skin scents, but they also last about 2 hours on dry skin. I also use both as layering scents to soften some of my stronger perfumes.

One of the best cheapies, hard to find now, but still possible, is the Aquolina Steel Sugar. Silver one, men oriented. So good!

Love the recommendation especially because I've never heard anyone talking about some of them like Oxygen & the Victorinox ones. Would love to see a video about men's perfume that even women can pull off.

I picked up the Le Parfum from Lalique and the Oxygene. I bought Joop, and LePerle on your recommendation either last year or year before. I actually enjoy both of them. Joop is my favorite. I've got a good dent in Le Perle. I'm almost out of Joop. Instead of re-upping I decided to try two new frags.

I practically live in Lanvin's Oxygene in the Summer. At this pricepoint, it's perfect to throw on if you're going to the beach, or just walking around a flea market. It doesn't smell cheap and it doesn't smell generic.

I am going to pick up Rome Divino and Perles de Lalique. I might also get Seductive Noir and Mauboussin Red. All of those appeal to me based on your descriptions. I have always liked Chantilly, which is very inexpensive and a easy to wear vanilla, imho. What do you think of it? Thanks for this list!

Hugo Boss deep red, Jil Sander Evergreen and the new Dita von Teese fragrances, also I still like Green Tea by Elisabeth Arden and the summer editions

Lanvin Oxygene is good. I used to wear this a lot back in the early 2000's. Lanvin is so under rate.

I have ‘let you love me’ by blumarine from your previous recommendation as an alt to D&G By her - and I love it. It does make me nostalgic for D&G. I’ve always wanted to try Le Bain by Joip- but never see it in Australia.

LE PARFUM by Lalique is also amazing: this herbyness is outstanding here & very unique ❤

I'd be super curious to know what the throw and sillage is in these. Also, wonder how often the need to apply would be? Any thoughts?

So, after watching this video, I went and picked up Guess Seductive Noir. $17 at my local Ross. The label is off-center, which kinda bugs me, to be honest. But it is a good fragrance! Kinda reminds me of Tobacco Vanille, actually.

Would recommend Bvlgari's Jasmin Noir, really cheap at discounters

Guess Seductive Red and Mauboussin in Red are really nice ones. Mauboussin gives lost cherry meets BR540.

I tried Guess Seductive Red. To me, it smells like a cherry version of Ariana Grande Cloud. It opened beautifully with a sweet cherry but the dry down turned heavy, musky and masculine on my skin. Gave it away.

I'm happy for this video. I enjoy and learn about niche fragrances but honestly, it's great see you talking about low cost fragrances because not everybody can afford a niche fragrance. Also, I consider you are an expert in fragrances. 🌻

The Laura Mercier you bought was a bargain Sebastian. I just looked it up and the new 50ml bottles are $US96, and $A145 here in Australia😲

There's definitely inexpensive beast mode fragrances that last just as long, if not more, than some designer and niche. None are featured in this video but I have several in my collection. ✌️

Just a tiny bit higher in price is Cacharel’s Yes I Am - a really delicious fruity floral caramel gourmand. A great Fall and winter fragrance.
