Is it unusual for a woman to only wear one perfume? I've worn LA VIE EST BELLE for 20+ years. I see there is now a Rose version but I will have to try it first. So many perfumes give me a headache so I stay with one scent. Just curious.

Frankly, no one can tell you what fragrances are and aren't worth buying because that's dependent on everyone's personal taste. I hope newbies aren't watching these videos and believing that just because someone has a degree in perfumery, they're qualified to tell anyone what will smell good in their nose... The excessive dependence on reviewers to begin with is a problem. The only thing a reviewer can tell you is how *they* feel about a scent, not how you'll feel about it.

Yes, please please keep steering people away from Baccarat Rouge 540! And encourage them to send their unwanted bottles to me 👀

I am team Delina OG🌹It last all day on my skin and it's beautiful. Delina La Rosée it's nice but last on me just 3 - 4 hours

Delina La Rosee is more mass appealing but the OG Delina is so worth the hype at least with my chemistry! As popular as the scent is I never smell it on others and when people do ask me what I am wearing they never know what I am talking about lol. Don't let the internet fool you, you can still smell unique with a popular fragrance! Also justice for BR540 lol

I have a question please. I have several dupes of BR 540. I didn't buy them because they were dupes, I just got them because I smelled them on other women and really liked them. Oddly, most of the times it was in an airport! I just realized that. My question is, since I like the so called dupes, should I spring for the original? I obviously like that vibe. Do you think it's worth the splurge? Mother's Day is coming up and my girls always get me a nice perfume. I'm debating on what to ask for.

The same goes for “luxury” bags and shoes… no matter how popular, depending on where you are in the world…you almost never see many people with these “over-hyped” items.

Delina and Delina Exclusif - beautiful but not for hot, humid and tropical weather Delina La Rosee - perfect not just for summer, but in a country where there’s only two seasons: rainy and summer (and it’s summer right now so it’s VERY hot and VERY humid). You could literally wear it all year long and you’d smell amazing 🥰

Totally agree re Delina, I have all three and the original is too harsh, I love the exclusif ( currently have it on) and the rosee is amazing for summer much more fresher and easier on the nose. Kids are wearing BR540 now glad mine has all gone lol. Thanks for the video. ❤

My favorite vanilla is from 7 virtues - vanilla woods. It’s so beautiful, deep, resinous, and lasts. My favorite winter vanilla. I think for warmer months, I love Eau Duelle edt from Diptyque and any kind of saltier light vanilla like The Vanille by Nette.

Kay Ali perfumes are overpriced and overhyped. They dont last on your skin. There are amazing dupes for them. Save your money.

I have Delina Exclif and La Rosee but I still want to buy Delina. It has something I can’t stop thinking about it. I have samples and every time I spray it I love it and my husband as well. Right now they have a special edition bottle with hand painted roses for Mother’s Day and I feel like I have to get it ☺️

I LOVE Pas Ce Soir Extrait and get compliments on it as well. I have not worn it in warm weather but so far it has been beautiful for me. Body chemistry is everything!

If you haven’t tried Pas Ce Soir, I would recommend it. My wife tried it and the extrait and we bought the extrait. The edp starts out projecting a little more, but the extrait lasts forever and is much richer. It’s a 10 out of 10 for my wife and I. Easily one of her top 10 frags.

It smells like foot odor and some cheap overly sweet body mist 🥴 I am not team Erba Pura. I think it has some similar vibes than Pas Ce Soir: cheap smelling fruity fragrance. I am team Delina. I loove the tartness of the rhubarb note. We are lucky that in Finland so few people really knows BR 540 so here you can still smell quite unique by wearing it.

Oh my gosh, I love all of these fragrances hahaha I still love that you are honest and destroy them, it's amazing to watch an honest perfume reviewer.

I really enjoy delina edp. I like the sour note along with the sweet rose.

Love these de-influencing videos to break through the hype...definitely keep these coming! I had a bottle of Delina Exclusif, and I like it better than Delina, but the Exclusif is just a little too strong and cloying for me -- which is saying a lot because I like Mugler's Angel! I wish PDM would come out with an Exclusif EDT that's lighter but still has the same notes. I've tried La Rosee and it's pretty, but my nose picks up something that smells like watermelon, so I still prefer Exclusif out of all of them.

I don't like any Kayali personally. Love Delina la Rose'e but I'm partial to the OG Delina. IMO Lust in Paradise by Ex Nihilo is better than Delina LaRose'e being in the same ballpark. BR540 is one of the most unique frags I've ever gotten my nose on...and no I don't get dentist's office as I am a dentist and I wished my office smelled like that LOL. Lune Feline is one of the best vanillas out there but you may be right about EUF by Coty as I haven't smelt it. Nice vid Josephine.

DO NOT blind buy! See if you can get a sample or test on skin to see how it works for YOU. As I said, perfume is subjective and wouldn’t advise on blind buying anything (even the ones I recommend!)

I have Delina and I enjoy it, I might buy the exclusif. I also have BR 540 extrait de parfum and I’m in love, never tried the eau de parfum though. You’re right about Móntale fragrances I have Roses musk and has a weird smell 🤷‍♀️

I can't smell BR 54. Like 4 spray later, still nothing! 😂. I've tried multiple times. I have a travel size of kayali vanilla 28, its a bit of a meh. It smells much cheaper than it sells for to be honest! It's fall winter here in Australia, so i think I'll finally get lune Feline, as we don't have baby cat. I know these 2 are in a different category to vanilla 28, but i like vanilla perfumes with something. For an easy one, i love Burberry goddess, its my dumb reach! Great vidoe as always ❤😊

I cant tell you how many times delina was in my cart but I never pulled the trigger because there are so many dupes that are super good!

That DNA is an instant migraine trigger for me. And I loathe smelling it in the hot, humid, NC summers. I don't know how or why it's touted as a year round scent. It's atrocious.

Rose scents are seriously dangerous to those who have reactions to the notes

I have all 3 Delina fragrances and love each but I will always prefer the original. I have gone through 2 bottles and dont ever seem to tire of it. Its also one of my most complimented fragrances ever.

Thank you for your honesty! Fully agree re Erba Pura - to me, this one smells like rotten fruit paired with methylated spirits. Also, the Baccarat Rouge hype completely baffled me in the beginning; I thought something was wrong with my nose (I get 90% band-aid and 10% glue) until I learned just how much scent perceptions can vary from one person to the next. ☺ Delina La Rosée is indeed a big love for me, whereas I can't stand the other two. And the final jury is still out on Pas Ce Soir; I do own a bottle but rarely reach for it because I, too, find the scent somewhat challenging ... And since I'm planning on whittling down my somewhat excessive collection to "no fillers, just k*llers", I guess I'll be saying goodbye sometime soon. Please keep up the great content (btw, I'd be very curious to hear about your views on the likes of Henry Jacques someday). 😊

Absolutely agree on Erba Pura! For that price, you're essentially buying a bottle of artificial lollies from the corner store, not even decant-worthy, let alone full bottle. Also BR540 smells like hospital antiseptic to me 😖

Tiziana Terenzi Kirke is very fruity and an extrait de parfum. It smells great. My wife just got BDK Pas Ce Soir Extrait and it is heavenly. The edp was good and projected a lot at first. But the extrait was much richer and lasted longer. Byredo Antique Vanilla is really good with vanilla and a boozy plum.

I just received the parfums the Marly discovery set and I can’t agree with you more, OG Delina is a bit sour and screechy while the Ex is just so elegant with that vanilla touch, that makes it creamier. However, I feel some synthetic note at the begging, but it dissipates after an hour or less …I am team Delina Ex.❤ Great video ✨

I love delina exclusif and it will be my wedding scent this summer ❤ I like OG Delina and I often layer it with exclusif but it is not as special as the exclusif at least for me. If I want something fresh I would go for Valaya.

Team Delina OG because it works so well in all seasons and occasions! But yes, I do have to be in the mood for it because she is STRONG and has given me a headache a couple of times. A couple of sprays work so well in the heat :) maybe I will try La rosee when I’m done!

I wish I’d known the disdain for BR540 before I got another bottle, but I do still think it’s a lovely scent. I don’t ever smell it around me even in OC California. I actually don’t notice a lot of women wearing much perfume for some reason. BUT, I work from home so exposure is limited to school pickup and the baseball fields. 😂

It’s quite strange that I felt the same way in every perfume you have explained. Kayali vanilla, montale dna, pas sec sour, baccarat, xerjoff, delina I do agree with all and looking forwards to try out the recommendation you gave

Thank you Jus de Rose for your honest reviews! I am not team Erba Pura or Erba Pura Gold. I got a sample of the Erba Pura Gold, but was equally disappointed. I enjoyed the opening of Erba Pura Gold, but the dry down smells like a bowl of very rippen fruit with wood notes (pas pour mois). Agree with you with Delina, can''t get past the green rubbarb note. I think I would enjoy Delina Exclusif much more as it is creamer. Regarding Kayali's fragrances, I just have not found one I like yet, tried but maybe not my fragrance DNA. Can you review the last two releases from Atellier Dors? Blue Madellaine sounds very interesting. Merci Beaucoup!

I love that Bath and Body works 😍...you need to try Marks and Spencers Rosewater Eau de Toilette. It's as beautiful and fresh as a rose can be. I adore it as it's affordable, cruelty free and doesn't trigger my allergies.

I love the OG Delina, the tart effect is addictive to me, the watery not in La Rosee reminds me of Amouage Honour Woman and they both make me nausea at times, I still love it but not as much as I love the OG. With Erba Pura, I went crazy with it summer 2022 but something changed!! I gifted my almost full bottle to a family member cox it suddenly turned screechy to my nose and I could barely stand it.

Really appreciate your perspective given your experience and background in the perfume industry. Smell is subjective, no doubt, but we are all in some way or other vulnerable to hype and FOMO. I have a few overhyped perfumes I convinced myself was amazing based on hype, only to realize why I wasn’t reaching for them, that I actually didn’t enjoy them at all.

Noticed too a lot of older channels have peaced out, churning out less content, probably because they’re burnt out financially and mentally from the pitfalls of the world of influencing.

I’ve been there too… it’s so tempting to get a perfume that others love and hope to love it as much as they do. That’s why I always get decants/samples and wear the perfume of weeks / months before making a purchase decision. Perfume isn’t cheap!

I'm looking for a long lasting pineapple tropical scent for summer that is affordable. I love the smell of leisure in Paradise. But it is so expensive and it doesn't last very long. Love your videos.

La Rosee every time - was sent a sample of Athalia when I bought it and unfortunately it smells like evil to me 😂. Great video ❤

I am now super aware how chemistry makes a HUGE difference in fragrance and how we perceive them; case in point, my daughter LOVES Petite Cherie (Goutal) and it smells LOVELY on her.. fresh, crisp and perfectly “Springtime”.. while it smells like bitter grass on me with zero evolution. Also, Kayali Vanilla 28 and Deja Vu smell old and dusty on me..and the Yum Pistachio saaaame.. again on my daughter I’m always shocked because they all smell delightful! I have a hard time with the Baccarat DNA.. smells like dental office or latex gloves to me.. same with Greenwich Village.

I adore Pas Ce Soir extrait! It smells amazing on my skin🎉🎉… almost one of my all time favorite smells😂 so funny how this works. My skin loves it and my nose loves it and I get compliments almost every time I wear it.

I agree with the Delina comment! I think it’s nice but the La Rosee is my favorite, and I prefer Very Good Girl over original Delina.

Delina Exclusif is my fave atm , but it smells better on me than the other delina’s longer lasting

I agree with your nostrils on every single one! Although I do like BR on my husband but I would hate to have to wear it all day myself.

I tried Delina a few days ago. It immediately reminded me of Mon Paris Intensément. I'm just not into that type of perfume now...but 18 year old me would have loved this. 😂 The flankers were okay but not for me either. I actually preferred the bigger more 'masculine' scents of Parfums de Marly .
