Hey, just wanted to thank you for talking about Athena Smokey Plum and bringing it to my attention. I got a bottle a few weeks ago, and have been wearing it like there is no tomorrow. Ordered another bottle and a few others that seemed really interesting from Athena. I agree with what you said in this video about just doing what YOU want to do, you've helped me out, so what you're doing is working. Just wanted to let you know and say thanks!

@@mikefordsaccount4900 Sebastian's review on it was really spot on. it does have some nice plum and a fruity note, but the smoke is... wow! It is a little different than Japonais, but this is a worthy opponent, and still very damn good. I have no regrets. I had to get mine from the UAE, I believe, and took less than a week to get to me here in the US. For the price, it can't be beat.

I appreciate you exploring underrated brands. You're the only fragrance channel I watch and you have introduced me into more niche and underrated fragrances.

I'm not done the video yet but I just want to say there is a reason you are winning recognition with your channel and that you are beloved by your community! You're gathering the views of people who are aligned to the things you talk about, and I think anyone that's talking about viewcount or trying to tell you how to run your channel can shove it.

Only a few years ago those more vintage Thierry Mugler gift sets were still around. I bought a 50 mL and shower gel combo myself. Has to have the TM signature at the bottom though. Once it became just Mugler, the reform wasn't great. ⭐ Appreciate all the answers!

I need to go get my nose on “One umbrella for two” right away because that case and set in Sebastian’s link is exactly what I want to get for my dad who loves rice (to eat), was the sole income for my own and extended family for many years (the perfume name is so spot on) and loves all things in Japanese culture. He just visited there and was raving about it for weeks. He loves perfumes and, gosh, I really want this to smell nice. I think this would be amazing for his bday and would honor him properly🤞🏼

Dirty Rice is right up my alley! I cook and eat Basmati every week I can't get enough, it's delicious and smells amazing 😋Also need to try Santal Basmati and Je Ne Sais Quoi. I have 3 bottles that leaked at the base, I didn't want to return them so I removed the protective cap and very carefully tighten the metal parts that seal it to the bottle with a pair of pointy pliers, if it still leaks i put superglue around it and sprinkle it with baking soda and that's it, fixed, it takes a little practice but better than return it and have to wait again for it 😱 Great long video, thank you Sebastian!!!

I think your attitude is so refreshing! Too many people want to grow super quickly, clout chase, and do KZread strictly for fame, swag and glory. I enjoy the “I don’t give an eff” feeling. I believe you care about fragrance and education. Not the “razzle dazzle”.

Great video!!! On the price question, I personally just would like less luxury packaging or at least the option to choose if you want it. It is a truly waste and probably the perfume price point could be lower. I keep sturdy boxes such FdB, Dusita, Vilhelm for storing samples but there is as many I can keep. I loved when I received Hiram Green, Bogue, MDCI or Fûm Gragances that at least I can store easier too. I understand that they want to make the customer feel they are buying a luxury item but you can still make a beautiful glass bottle and maybe less velvet /plastic in the box itself

I was hoping you'd recommend JHAG Musc Invisible for your musk question. I have really been enjoying it lately and originally bought it from your video review. Perfect time of year for it too here in the US. Thank you!

Agree with your assessment of Nisean from PdM. You can still find it, but you have to look as it is sold out in many places...and it has been discontinued. Nisean is a great scent.

Sebastian, I just picked up Exit The King from Etat Libre d'Orange after watching your soapy-clean recommendation. It is incredible and quite possibly is in my top 3 favorites of all time. Longevity is stellar on my skin and i am obsessed with it. I never would have tried it had it not been for your recommendation. THANK YOU! PS As far as Gris Dior - I love it and it is in my top 5, though I do wish the performance was better. I layer with the body wash, lotion, and perfume and get a little more longevity. I really like that you explained that this is a rose chypre because I did not know that. I am learning that I adore Oakmoss. Is Exit The King a chypre too? Thank you for all you do Sebastian!
