It's really not a good idea to spin a CD at those speeds. It's only designed for use at about 500 rpm, while experiencing no side load. An angle grinder can easily exceed 8,000 rpm, and some exceed 13,000 rpm. When a cd fails from centrifugal force plus off axial force, it fails catastrophically, sending shards of sharp polycarbonate everywhere. I do not recommend anyone try this.

Оптический диск не рассчитан на такие скорости а также механические нагрузки, опасная штука получилась.

It looks cool but in the long run. Cheaper to buy the sand disc. Already. Cause the cd cost more and is unsafe it will burst better use the appropriate disc !
