*- YES {! ! !} Using outside air for the firebox of the wood stove Is THE Trick to heating a home.* *- I did that 50 years ago for a log cabin in Nova Scotia, and it worked so well I had to open outside doors to cool the place sometimes.*

Tim's home is beyond words. That house here in California would be probably 5 times more expensive than it is there. It appears like something a movie star would build around Lake Tahoe. The man is a real artist. Thanks for sharing; how nice it would be, to be that talented.

A very nice hole in a very good Craftsman and I'm pretty sure he's doing like I'll do it build it out of their pocket I've been working on my house for April be 5 years it's a 2600 square feet but when we get done we won't owe a bake or lend it institution nothing Bruno laughing at you Daddy makes me smile thanks Nathan

First of all; you and Bruno had me laughing out loud at the end of the video. I have to say that Tim's house is BEAUTIFUL! I love the fact that he left the pegs proud on the beams. That really draws attention to the craftsmanship the went into the construction. That place is awesome inside and out. And yes, those white oak steps are gorgeous too. LOL

Wow what a house,,,there is something killing the pine trees,,blue spruce,,i have 3,,i took 1 out...i also have the scotch pine,,now there ok..all are over 20 years old...great video Nathan

Wow. I grew up in a town with some timberframe houses, I think one of the earliest dated from 1470 or thereabouts - I remember it because it was converted to a cinema in the 1930s so I spent many hours of my childhood in there! Anyway, your friend's house is beautiful - I hope it lasts as long as Ye Hall of John Halle, that level of craftmanship deserves to last forever.

I've seen bark used for canoes and in survival shelters but never on a home. It's absolutely beautiful
