Love my C5. It's the first generation they got right since the C2.

Drive it and enjoy it.When your on your deathbed you can say Wow I enjoyed driving that car or smile and say wow it was a low mileage beauty

Haaa. I can't hear what is being said..thats all. Great video, Corvettes are fantastic cars, i'm so looking forward to the C8..here in the UK i've only seen 1 C7 on the road and 2 at car shows..but i did see a black 1978 C3 the other day, it looked like the Batmobile.

That model callaway is trash. Those generation Corvettes are just terrible . The good thing is that a poor man can buy a sports car because of the c4 and c3.

The C5 Z06 had a great idea, all the tires were the same size. They could be rotated. The regular C5 had 17s in the front and 18s in the back.

Actually the factory sizing for the C5 Z06 (2001-2004) Z06 wheels/tires is: Front: Wheel size: 17 x 9.5 Offset: +54mm Tire Size: 265/40/17 Rear: Wheel size: 18 x 10.5 Offset: +58mm Tire Size: 295/35/18

Yea it’s obviously not a Z06, the emblem is ridiculous. Looks like somebody put the side brake vent in also. But you know there’s fake SS cars out there all over the place also so…

I used to own a Corvette, nightmare to work on....

I love the fact though the old corvettes are so cheap now. C3 and C4 are just complete garbage, like that Callaway. There are the Poor mans sport car for sure. The c5 is a great sports car for the unwealthy. The sad thing is how all the exotic sport cars owners look down on the old corvette owners as pretenders. Like that guy with the c5 talking about the rims and how much it cost. Bro its a cheap ass old corvette dont talk about money and lie about how much those rims are and the price.

Z M thx for the comment. Technology has certainly improved over the generations. But, you may be surprised by how much that Callaway is worth, given it is one of the most early and rare examples. When it comes to classic cars, often the story and the exclusivity add up to big $$. You wouldn’t want to own that car for the tech.

Exotic owners can look down on Corvette owners but the fact is C2’s and some C3’s are bringing very big money now. Some C2 resto mods and pro touring cars are over $200K now.
