The urbex videos are great to watch if you have insomnia and someone in the house is trying to sleep because you can play them with the volume down low and just watch the action. That's what I do. I like this channel a lot.

Me! I’d love to explore myself, but I’m much too chicken. I like watching someone else do it, see what it looks like & say my input. Something relaxing about urbex, it’s a nice break from reality.

The furniture is sixty’s colonial. The house looks like part of it was an old silo and barn converted to a house. The house looks like it is from a fairytale. Must have been very cool back in the day. Awesome find and explore. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@williebeamish5879 If I remember correctly, Tim O'Hara, Bill Bixby's character in "My Favorite Martian" had a red one in his apartment over a garage. I used to see them all over the place, back in the '60s, particularly in vacation homes and sometimes in less luxurious ski lodges (the ones my friends and I frequented in the early part of the decade, just after I graduated from high school). I always they were a cool-looking type of Franklin stove that threw a lot of heat. Stay safe.

Agree that the person living here must have been very handy with tools and the trades. Robb your filming is just top notch in here!!! I don't know how you manage to do it and not break your neck with all the debris lying about. The Sedgefield jeans are from the 80's. Such an awesome find, critters n' all!! Shout out to the crew and as always you delivered a GREAT explore to your viewers!! Thank you so much for taking us along!! 🔧 🔨 ⚒ ❤️❤️❤️

2 things stood out for me in this video that was not normal, but very cool. First was the design of the bathroom with the coach-lamps on either side of the mirror and the exposed brick wall with an awesomely tiled 1970's wet wall tiled wall....second, the overall design of the exterior. I reckon the owner may have built it himself as a labour of love as evident by the items you documented in the garage.....top video Rob.

That's a really cool house, and with so much intact (furniture, magazines, wall hangings, not walls...) it's easy to imagine what it was like before. That furniture and fireplace takes me right back to my grandma and grandpa's 1960's/70's house. And the phone has a dial tone??? hmmm... nice touch! I'm wondering if maybe there had been a gas leak or something that killed the raccoons in the basement? Great video!!!

If it were me in there with the dead raccoons..... Afraid to turn my back on them.... What if they're not dead? 😆 Isn't it funny how we get older and we see something that we know we've seen before, that's so familiar but just can't remember? Thanks for the volture footage Max!

I still have a couch like that. It was my parents. It’s a sleeper sofa that hides a bed inside. Cushions are beat up but I have a throw over the whole thing. Works for me and the sucker is heavy.

That threw me for a loop, along with that Rice Krispies box. That stuff says 90's to me. I suspect it was built in the 60's and lived in until the guy who out it together passed away in the 90's at some point. It's easy to forget that 1990 was 30 years ago now...

Amazing silo house. Wish we could have seen it in its prime condition. Sad that it’s falling in on itself. Would love to know the story of it and why it was abandoned with everything still in it. You zoom on the right things, go the right speed, have awesome music & great commentary--& of course great picks for location. Not everyone has your unique blend! So relaxing & enjoyable...been subbed for several years now & so glad. I do watch a few in other countries that do a pretty good job but you'll always be the best! If I can take anything aside from the mystery and intrigue these videos bring, it would be that I’m constantly reminded that every possession I own will be left behind one day, turning to trash then dust. These pieces of our lives should not be what is most important... Nice video once again 🍀

Agreed. It's amazing that everything was left behind. Clothes, furniture, dishes, tools.... They didn't just move because they would have taken their personal belongings. This was either a "bug out" or someone passed away and nobody claimed the belongings.

@@brendastibolt6672 Typically if back taxes are owed they would need to be paid by the buyer if the property were sold. This looks like it sits on farm land, so it's likely the building is part of land that is still owned by someone and farmed, so taxes are probably still being paid. The house is obviously uninhabitable so the tax rate likely reflects that.
