Can i control Spotify music from my Pixel phone?

I think you can control Spotify with the amazfit. In the music playback app you choose to control watch music or phone music (Spotify or pandora or whatever) but by “control” I mean play, stop, skip forward and skip back. No actual playlist interaction or anything - pixel phone ? No idea.

As I am tired of Apple Watch outsourcing all their health side of things, (I paid over 600 Euros for the watch now I'm supposed to pay monthly subscriptions to steps, sleep, heart...everything basically, trackers), I am in the market for a health tracker that can replace all that nonsense.

Thanks for your clear review. I have been struggling with health and also with the watches 😂, from Apple Watch to Garmin Epix 2 but returned the last one as it was missing some “basic” easy to read statistic health data. This watch (GTR4) just ordered yesterday after viewing your nice and honest review. Basically the things this watch misses vs the Apple Watch is as you say some stuff i do not use except for the wireless payment from watch. But i can do that with my phone. I received the GTR 4 today and it keeps me wondering and smiling. This is just what i was missing. I am not a triathlete or whatsoever so Garmin is way too much for me. The Zepp app shows me all i need. This watch is a some kind of mix between the Samsung watch and the Apple Watch, both tried them out but missing something and this is it (for the moment). Thanks again and greetings from a happy Dutch watch owner (thanks to your review 😊)

Jorg, awesome! Yes this watch seems to only miss the items that I "dont need". The apple watch has more features but a terrible battery. The samsung is not worth it as my phone is an iPhone. Both the Apple and the Samsung cost more so if I can get what I want for less...then it seems to be a better value for me. Enjoy and let me know if you have any problems. BBEWARE: I've been having the GTR 3 PRO since March 22. A couple of months later I noticed that there was a serious inaccuracy in the HR readings. I'm a cyclist and I do about 70 km of cycling every week. I noticed that the watch was sometimes unable to track my HR when riding uphill. My HR reading could be round 130bpm just prior to the climb and at the top of the uphill I could be getting a reading of as low as 54bpm. I don't get that low of a reading not even while sleeping, let alone after having ridden an uphill. Amazfit support was unable to offer any usable, productive tips on that, not even tell me if this problem was isolated to my own device, or a possible firmware bug. I still have the watch to this day and seven months later, the problem has even gotten worse and I now rarely get a correct reading. There are rides that my pulse readings barely exceed 110bpm. I have looked into it all these months trying to figure out what could be the possible cause for the HR inconsistency, from changing settings to rebooting to factory settings and it seemed to have worked... for the firest couple of rides before loosing accuracy again and again. Wasted time actually. So, I finally gave up. Amazfit NO MORE as it is very likely that this serious flaw may have been inherited to the newer models as well!

Thanks, luckily accuracy for me isn’t crucial. Garmin may be a better option for you.

thanks and yes my stats were all over the place at first...then I pulled the sticker off the back...hahahaha. Hopefully yours improves.

@@omarkhanday3956 I wish someone had put up a similar comment before I made the mistake to buy the GTR 3 Pro. This is the actual truth which Amazfit is aware of but doesn't give a damn.

Huami Technology is the company behind the brand Amazfit. They are the ones manufacturing the mi smart bands of xiaomi. I hope everything is getting better with you. I am currently using Venu 2 as my smartwatch for strict health monitoring (hr and spo2 readings are one of the most accurate in all of garmin units) and for tracking sleep, and some sport modes.

yeah, 230lbs to 201lbs and counting. Diet changed, walk 40-60 minutes a day, lifting again. BP is down all is good. Garmin is Premium for sure. Thanks for watching.

I was really into the previous trex but was turned off because of inaccuracy and some software limitations. Count me in as your new sub.

I tried the Fenix 7 last week for 1 day. That's all it took for me to know it wasn't for me. I love the look actually. I think like you, i just hate the apple watch squareness and really how puny it looks. I have an apple watch 7 right now but so so so wanted to love the Fenix. What I miss most is being able to answer my family and take calls as you mentioned on this video. No one has responded to this question, maybe you know. Can the Amazfit allow me to pick up calls from an iphone? You seemed to hint at yes. You also seemed to hint that you can make calls. So, I've asked so many ppl, can I hit the button on the watch and say, "Siri, call my wife." or "Siri, message my wife that the kids have had their meds, no more fevers for now." If amazfit or (I was looking at garmin vevo 2 for the mic as well but i like the more rugged look of amazfit) anyone else can handle that, I can move! :D Anyway, fun to hear about amazfit, i gotta lose some weight too. Appreciate your take! I've actually been looking at the TRex Pro and Falcon but haven't tried them yet. I have to find out if they have a mic / speaker as well.
