Yeah but at some point you gotta take accountability for yourself. Plenty of victims of child abuse who wake up one day and decide they aren’t going to let that ruin your life. At 18 unhealthy coping mechanisms may happen, by 30 you should be evolving and making better decisions. That’s life.
And Dan Schneider STILL walks free. There is no Justice for those kids.

Amanda Bynes was 16 years old when she started smoking marijuana. By the time she was 21 she was abusing Adderall and tried cocaine and ecstasy recreationally. In most of these photo, sadly, she was already abusing drugs. She is incredibly talented and funny so, it's sad to see how her life has turned out up until this point. I'm still rooting for her to overcome all this and hope she can be surrounded by people who genuinely care about her.
@xtldc
8 ай бұрын
I’d say that abusing Adderall is relevant to the discussion, but Marijuana isn’t something that anyone gets strung out on and doesn’t lead users to emotional and financial ruin. As for trying cocaine and MDMA recreationally by age 21 - that describes a pretty significant number of college students and non-students alike in their early 20s. While both drugs can certainly be abused and cocaine has a pretty high potential for addiction, occasional and experimental use of either shouldn’t really be considered abuse.

@@JJ-lw8vu no, its not Edit: for everyone who thinks marijuana is fine and not addictive, let me present you some facts. 1 in 10 people get addicted to marijuana, and that means they cannot stop using it and rely on it. The risk of getting addicted is even grater if you start using earlier in life; 1 in 6 teenagers who use it get addicted and 1 in 2 people who use it every day get addicted. If a person gets addicted, they can try to stop, but ultimately will fail due to withdrawal symptoms. As for the effects of marijuana, the short term effects include difficulty in thinking and problem solving, impaired body movement, hallucinations and delusions, altered senses, and it damages your lungs and body overall. The long term effects include breathing problems, increased heart rate, nausea and vomiting, impaired memory and thinking, loss of IQ, and problems in child development for women which are lower birth weights and higher chances of behavioral and brain problems in the babies. I should also mention that for some people, marijuana can result in side effects such as being anxious, afraid, panicked, paranoid, and maybe even increase the chances of that person getting a mental disorder. So, don't just use the drug because it gets you high, beware of the consequences of marijuana abuse and please avoid it. Lastly, medical use if different from abuse, when used medically marijuana is used to relieve stress and only given at mediated doses, when abused it is simply used for a high and can have dangerous side effects. I agree. Yet I add where is the children's services, what were they doing to help? Nothing. Because the accused had the money to fight them. However, I've seen them pull kids out of a good home in which they might need a little counseling to make the family stronger. Then the kids were Actually abused in various ways by the foster parent(s). Which messes the child up for life. Where were her parents? Can we truly blame the nasty pervs, or do we look to the ones not fulfilling their parental duties, the ones not performing their jobs ti meet the expectations of the community and the needs of the kids.... I started getting bipolar disorder in my 20s. Narcissists had been controlling life and I was going crazy. I started developing short burst of anger. I could feel myself becoming hateful. I knew what they were trying to do. They were trying to corrupt my beautiful nature. So instead of turning to drugs or therapy, to cope, I started working at night. Walking and bike riding at night, for hours. I'm literally known as "that guy that walks around at night" around my city. I hate that I have that title, but atleast I am sane, and not known as "that crazy guy". I avoided a path of crime. I have zero criminal history. No one can really say anything bad about me. In my walks at night, I came across A LOT of sketchy people, who tried to turn me to a life a crime, and i managed to dodge them all. Amanda chose drugs, unless someone tricked her into doing them.
@koltoncrane3099
2 ай бұрын
Peria There’s also a huge amount of judgement around drugs which is totally created by society and not necessarily true!!! Coca Cola literally had coke in it back in the day. Psychologists like Freud Sigmond and others literally prescribed and used cocaine to help with depression or other issues. There were no billion dollar cartels before the U.S. made drugs illegal and then the cia made massive amounts of money because drugs were illegal. It’s great you never used drugs. I think a lot of people don’t need them if they can change their environment or like you find constructive means. But I don’t think all drugs are bad. Remember a ton of mental illness medication literally ends up killing people. Do we ever discuss that or just focus on the illegal drugs because ya know that’s what the all knowing government has banished and persecuted. Heck the creators of escatsy I remember in a documentary literally said it’d be great medicine to help people work through deep emotion hurt. Yes people take it at raves whatever and the government hates it but that same drugs could be used for healing.
Drugs, trauma. Breaks my heart the things she went through and how she chose to cope with it. I hope she heals and finds peace.

They're called LOSERS, bro. Many are born every minute. They have negligible accomplishments in life so they pounce on people who stumble and fall. It's the only way they feel they're better off. 😝
I had a friend from middle school who everyone said looked just like her, she died of a heroin overdose at the age of 20. Seeing Amanda go down this path is just absolutely heartbreaking… grew up with her shows and movies, and when ppl on talk shows would talk down on Lindsay, and other young stars being out of control, Amanda would be the one they’d bring up as a child star that didn’t go off the rails. Crazy to see it make a complete 180.

It is sad that the uploader and most of the people here, discard her through their single dimensional view based on the metric of drug usage. Every drug user, is a person in process of slow suicide, and in war against themselves, after what was good and functional about them was corrupted by those who were close to them. The war should not be against drugs, it must be against the games being played that are belittling the value of these lives.
