Hope you are enjoying the time off and are not reading KZread comments, just leaving some engagement on the historic brawl videos because I enjoy them.

Oh dang, thats me in the first game! I thought this deck looked familiar lol. Sinister Reflection is fun, because if you've mutated, it gives you a copy of each creature in the stack. Its a shame I got screwed on lands, I'd have loved to show off my deck more.

I have done this. It conjures a duplicate of each of the mutations. So yeah. Huge value

2:30 I was wondering more about things like 'Skrelv' and 'Giver of Runes' considering they not only protect the commander but also provide evasion. (Also 'Fatal Push' with all the Ragavans and dorks running around)

Yea, I've been working on the paper version. im def gonna make it is super fun and resilient and people treat it as just another life gain deck when it's so much more.

I've been playing this since you featured it and it is an actual blast. Does a great job of racing aggro, keeping single card strategies in check, and grinds hard. Thank you for showing me my new go to HBrawl deck!

Amalia is one of the coolest cards from the new set. By far my favorite lifegain payoff. It's just great value! I love Amalia, I love Historic Brawl and your content of it is incredible. Thanks for putting these out for us!

I know it's not always possible especially when you're cramming in videos for vacation but the hour long brawl videos are always great

CGB, have you tried Blind Obedience in the deck instead of Authority of Consuls? I found the extort mechanic more reliable to gain life (especially against decks which do not play many creatures) and it provides additional life drain. Plus it also hits artifacts with its static ability.

You know the deck is 5head when CGB is struggling in the commander name XD

Actually it's a matter of lifelink which is part of damage, more specifically combat damage here, as such damage and lifegain from lifelink occur simultaneously. Then when statebased actions check everything you're at the life required for the angel to be bigger so it doesn't die.

I liked the matchups you got, if magic were like that all the time, it would be so much fun. I'd prefer having bots play varied decks then playing the same thing over and over again against human brains. Give me more sparks DAMNED wotc can't we have more bots to play? If I wasn't playing sod I'd play your deck until the matchups became boring.

What's with all the white mtg youtubers being "unable" to pronounce normal Spanish names and being faux-sorry about it? Yall read Jin Gitaxis just fine....

Jin Gitaxis contains no phonemes that are not already common in English and avoids ambiguous representations of those phonemes (had it been spelt Gin Gitaxis, we'd still be arguing with each other about it). Ask an Mtg player to pronounce "Academy Manufactor" and half the players will fuck it up.
