What a great Rod Steward song! You have done a lot of Rod so far, but his hit list is massive, so there's so much more to explore. Some suggestions: Downtown Train, First Cut is the Deepest and his cover of Have I Told You Lately (You already reacted to Van Morrison's version - when you do your next cover day, you need to add this to the list).

I swear, even after decades, Rod Stewart is still going strong in Germany's radio stations. Not one song I haven't heard from there. And, to be honest, not one song that I know of, that isn't a complete tune. His voice has a certain power through most of his songs that one can barely find with any other artist. Love me some Sir Stewart.

You can't go wrong with Rod Stewart. A prolific artist that spans decades. I always associated this song with the film, 'Whatever Happened To Baby Jane', but no relation to the song and film. This song showed that Rod Stewart could still rock well into the 1980’s and beyond.

Better still, listen to Rod's solo version, from 1969. Written by Mike d'Abo, who took over as lead singer in Manfred Mann, from Paul Jones. The first hit with it was by the great Chris Farlowe, in 1967. People seem to miss the fact that Rod started out singing R'n'B, Soul and a bit of Blues, in the early 1960s.
