The bit at the end was recorded at Anfield football ground with the Liverpool crowd singing "You'll Never Walk Alone", which I think you've reacted to. They've adopted it as their club anthem and they always sing it before their home games. Also off the same album (Meddle) is the song Echoes, which is long, but worth a listen. David Gilmour has done some good live versions of it on some of his recent tours.

They did Echoes at the first few stops on the Momentary Lapse tour - Cleveland, Toronto, Philly and I think Buffalo, maybe?
From their 1971 album Meddle, it was earlier than DSOTM. Echoes is the quintessential PF song you guys gotta hear, yes it’s 23 minutes long but will take you to another galaxy and back again ✨

One of the things I enjoy about the relationship you've built with Pink Floyd and their songs is that you're ready and willing to trust them to take you on the journey, and it's so easy just to slip into the vibe they provide and enjoy the ride. It's less about "I wonder what we're going to get" and more about "I'm strapped in, let's get going".

The last section is "You'll Never Walk Alone". This song is Floyd's first time addressing their founder Syd Barrett's mental illness. Syd was their original singer and songwriter but had to leave the band way back in 1968. He was one they were hoping would be "Fearless" and they wanted to tell him he'd never walk alone.
“I’ll climb that hill in my own way.” Indeed. Another masterpiece of tone and vibe. Be kind. Always.
Definitely one of my favorite Floyd tunes of all time...such a terrific vibe. These folks are gonna LOVE this one so much! 😁💯

A pillow of winds is another acoustic sing from this album and its one of my favourite pink floyd songs . The band are just finding their feet and moving towards the band that we recognise and love .
For me, Pink Floyd's golden era was from 1971-1977. So many great memories of the band from that time.

Meddle will always be my favourite Pink Floyd album because it was my first, given to me by my girlfriend and first love back in 1972 when I was at boarding school (as was she but not the same one. Co-Ed wasn't a thing back then). I listened to the whole album every night, with headphones lying in bed before I went to sleep, for at least six months. But the Division Bell is right up there with it in my opinion. Obscured by Clouds, Dark Side and Wish You Were Here are also firm favourites, but Animals and The Wall (apart from two or three outstanding tracks on the Wall) have never grabbed my attention in the same way, The Final Cut is just dreadful. Pink Floyd had died for me and then along came Momentary Lapse of Reason to rekindle my love, followed by The Division Bell to cement it for all time.

@@nomdaploom interesting comment. Have a listen to Richard Wright's "Wet Dream" album from 1978. It shows what a huge part his talent and sound was to Pink Floyd. Roger Waters mocking him for not ever having written a song, is not only stupid and wrong, but it shows what a lousy and pathetic human being Waters has become.
I like this track by them, a laid back song off the Meddle album with Liverpool football supporters in there at the end and an acoustic vibe . You guys should check out 'One of these days' off the same album,it is a real blast and Amber will love it.

I LOVE the only lyrics - "One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces".
You can really hear their sound coming together on this album, Meddle, and the next, Obscured by Clouds, into what would culminate in The Dark Side of the Moon. Still heavy on the psychedelic vibe on this one, but it's moving forward, informed by the experience built precisely because they weren't afraid to experiment.

Replying late but 4 years ago i took an 8th of mushrooms. About 2 hours into the trip i laid on my kitchen floor, my brother turned on his speaker and played one of these days, which I’d never heard in my life until that point. It was so intense and i remember struggling mightily. The aggression of the notes and voice… and then that song ended and another one began to play. That song was a pillow of winds. It was the most peaceful 5 minutes of my entire life and one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had

Yes. And "Brain Damage" - Great lyrics: - And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
Pink Floyd is the band that taught me to appreciate songs with no lyrics. Every song is a work of art.
One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever produced.
This is a great track from their 1971 album “Meddle”, 2 years before Dark Side If The Moon”. This song “Fearless” shows the acoustic brilliance of David Gilmour with alternate tunings to produce the signature riffs.
I vaguely recall suggesting this one, several months ago. It's the most gorgeous song on that album and one of Floyd's finest moments. Excellent choice.
Two life-changing Pink Floyd songs for me..."Echoes" (from the same album, "Meddle", as this) and "Dogs" (from "Animals")... very long songs by radio standards, but soooo worth the rides they take you on!
This whole period, from Meddle to Wish You Were Here, has such beautiful moments. Among all the chaos and angst and drama, there is always one jaw droppingly pretty tune, usually with acoustic guitar. This is Meddle’s.
My favourite Pink Floyd album. Echoes is one of the greatest tracks ever. You also must react to Pillow Of Winds, also from Meddle.

Echoes and their heaviest song ever One Of These Days are awesome.
The vocals give me a floaty feeling
Cool Floyd. I haven't heard this one in a good while. That album has some gems. I also like "San Tropez" and "Seamus" from that album. Of course "Echoes" might be the most well known track from that LP. "San Tropez" is a little different from what you typically think of as a Pink Floyd track and "Echoes" is probably exactly what you would expect from them. It's all good. Might be time for me to give Meddle another listen.
That guitar riff is basically heckling the hopeful singer and his lyrics, but that tension of opposing feelings is perfect.
First song I ever heard by Pink Floyd and that journey is still going. This song always puts me in a good space

Back in the '00s, we were doing lots of tribute shows, and this song was one of my favorites just because the singer nailed it, and it sounded so good.
This is fairly early Floyd, and takes me back to 1975-6 when I was doing a post-grad course in Liverpool, lived in Anfield and would go and stand in the cop sometimes to watch a match....fantastic feeling and it gave me confidance.

Thinking freely is very much an outlaw act in many a circles. This song has been with me for 33 years now, Peace/JT
Woooow...Can't believe you did this song! Major deep cut! I stumbled upon this song in college and it quickly became one of my fave PF songs. Can't remember if I suggested this one to you guys or not, but I'm sure others did too. Thank you!
Jay & Amber, you'll love their "Young Lust"!! (for your 20th Pink Floyd song) "Young Lust" was used in their movie 'The Wall'!
Amber was totally gone when Jay took the break, then she said as much right after we witnessed her coming back from the trance! Beautiful!
Oh. My. God.... After the night at work I had, where things were frustrating, and irritating, I came home and watched a couple old episodes of John Oliver while waiting for my "sleep aid" to kick in. I turned on my computer as the great floaty feeling slid in, and what did I find? My FAVORITE Pink Floyd song of ALL TIME, and not from ages ago, when you two were still finding your footing for this channel, but just last night. I cannot say this enough: Thank you. You not only put a smile on my face, but you made every part of my day better.
An amazing example of the power of pink.
We used to listen to albums, back in the days of vinyl records and even later when tapes came along. Pink Floyd albums were made for listening as an immersive experience. Each album has its own theme and story.
Great song. Most people don't mess with their work before Dark Side.
Love this song and the whole Meddle album.
Fearless is so great and very positive and PFloyd is not always seen as a very upbeat band with lots of positive commentary but this makes up for all of that
Meddle is my favorite Pink Floyd album. Thank you for reacting to this song.
Echoes will take you for a trip. The song is pretty long but I'm sure you will enjoy the ride. This is another great reaction. You two always put a smile on my face. Thank you for that.
Amber nailed it exactly. The vibe is "I did it!"
David Gilmour has such a soft pleasant voice to listen to no matter the song and also a great guitar player.
The best Pink Floyd song ever written.....in my humble opinion!
this song is so good and underrated
Oh yes! One of my all time favorite early Floyd tunes! Thanks for the reaction! I believe I was one of the followers who recommended this one back when you did "You'll Never Walk Alone Again" because that was what the ended of this song was, and in fact, that title is part of the songs subtitle as an ode to the Dubliners.
Just finished Brit Floyd, the best Pink Floyd tribute band, here at The Rose in Dayton, Ohio. Third time seeing them. Still awesome! They did comfortably Numb as an encore. Crazy Diamond is still my favorite live. Very bluesy! The background singers always get a standing ovation!💖

Just saw them last week in Waukegan, IL. Fantastic show and they played a lot of older Pink Floyd songs. Eva Avila is so good on "Great Gig In The Sky".
An early Pink Floyd, “Astronomy Domine”and “Remember A Day” written and sung by keyboardist Richard Wright.
An interesting little dittie from Meddle, home of other, utterly classic tunes. Floyd indeed, that album began for me, the best run of their career. If you have NOT heard Echoes from the entire other side of Meddle, you seriously need to. It is one of the most epic, intense, atmospheric and progressive in their own way, tunes and one of the ultimate head trip songs of all time. It was the last song at many a party in the 70s. Studio first, then live at Pompeii 1972 and then the last performance of it by David Gilmour and Rick Wright at Gdansk in 2006. You will not regret this experience as these are once in a lifetime performances, people will be viewing/listening to them forever! Incredible song, a springboard for all that was yet to come. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎷🎶
I love the way amber just totally zones out Amazing that's what Floyd is for.
This is my favorite song from my favorite pink floyd album. Love seeing people discover this!
I was on two hits of acid in 1986 when I first heard this song. It is so emotional and deep! The thing about some songs is that you can’t understand the depth of them unless you can feel them! Just remember, you’ll never walk alone! PS, this is clearly the Works version and not the Meddle version. You can tell by the additional crowd sound effects.
This is a very cool song, it features at the beginning and more so at the end, the fans of Liverpool FC singing You'll Never Walk Alone before a match. You guys might remember reacting to You'll Never Walk Alone by Gerry and the Pacemakers not long ago. I'm not sure of the exact reasons why Pink Floyd chose to put it in their song but I love it myself being a LFC fan

I think because they were Arsenal fans and Arsenal had beaten Liverpool in the 1971 FA Cup final but the Liverpool fans showed their sportsmanship and applauded Arsenal. The Kop, of course, was the original and most iconic football choir and Floyd paid their tribute.
The ending song is sung by fans of the Liverpool FC & Celtic FC soccer teams. "You'll Never Walk Alone" was written in 1945 for the musical "Carousel." Frank Sinatra was the first to record the song independent of the stage play that hit number 3 on the music charts. In 1963, the English band, Gerry & The Pacemakers, released their version that hit number 1. It returned as a chart-topper in 2012 when Liverpool FC & Celtic FC adopted "You'll Never Walk Alone" as their off I official anthem. Check out.Gerry & The Pacemakers. The group was a major exponent of an English Rick sound known as the Merseybeat alongside Billy J Kramer And The Dakotas, The Searchers, and The Beatles.
One of my All Time Favorites by Floyd. On my learn to play & sing list.
Imagine That... I'm 71, and never knew I WAS a Floydian! :) Great Reaction!
So cool you guys finally got to this one!!! I knew you would love it!!! Pink Floyd transports you to another dimension and they will always be my favorite band of all time!!! And David Gilmour will always be my favorite musician of all time!!! That voice and that guitar? Its rediculous how good it is its like its a spiritual journey!!! Wouldnt hurt my feelings at all if you guys really did a deep dive into Floyd! Lol! Its soul food🙂
This is my favorite Floyd song to play on my guitar.
Great song and album! Y’all probably won’t do Echoes in the channel due to length, but most definitely a must. Love the shirts!
"When I listen to Pink Floyd, I'm not here. 'Amber's gone..'" We are soul mates, child. Bless you.
You can sink ur teeth into this poetry filled puppy.
Great PF deep cut here! This album, Meddle, is one of my favorites from them. As many others have recommended, Echoes is a classic track off Meddle that you really owe it to yourselves to listen to. It might be too long for the channel but I guarantee that Amber, especially, will love the journey it puts you on. Thanks for the reaction, guys!
I've always thought that "Fearless" is a metaphor about overcoming stage fright, which is something that the band, particularly Gilmour, had to overcome in their early days in clubs like UFO, because in a club you don't even have physical distance separating you from your audience, which the audience undoubtedly enjoyed.
Another great reaction to one of my favorite of the early era Floyd songs off of 1971's Meddle, one of my favorite Floyd albums (y'all should ABSOLUTELY listen to the entire album sometime, not for reaction but just for the fun of it. It is too good and has some great songs). The song is so deep and meaningful, and then ending with the crowd singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" was amazing. You really get a good feel for the early bluesy/country vibes that Pink Floyd started with. And Fearless, much like You'll Never Walk Alone, is a great uplifting song about, as Amber said, rising above everything that tries to keep us down. My little sister, who isn't really a Floyd fan but heard a lot of it coming from my stereo whether she wanted to or not, used the lines "You pick the place and I'll choose the time, and I'll climb that hill in my own way" as her high school senior quote with her yearbook picture in 1990. 😀 That's just a classic line and a reminder that, God willing, we can rise above anything!
At 2:57. "Oh"....... good stuff, for sure. Floyd fan for over 50 years. Thanks, guys!
One of my favorites. Easy to listen to with a great smooth flow. Back in the 60s-70s we would have said. "Trippy" :) In some ways I miss those days :)
the chant of the crowd at the end is: Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone Liverpool! Liverpool!
Jay I received a message from your boy. He said he heard you saying that he wasn’t even in your top 3 anymore. He asked me if I could tell you that he would like you to reconsider. He said that he put on the most banging performance of a life time at the River Plate. The whole album is a treasure.
Meddle is a fantastic album- part of a string of 5 back to back masterpieces

I went to see the band Ambulance Ltd over at Chelsea Piers once and they covered this song. Of all Floyd’s songs and they picked this one. They did a great job.
Stumbled across your reaction. I will watch all and everyone who reacts to the one and only Pink Floyd!
YOU GUYS DO A GREAT JOB OF UNDERSTANDING AND COMMENTING ON THE PINK FLOYD EXPERIENCE. THANK YOU
Nice to see Pink Floyd reactions of songs that are not the usual ones that everyone reacts to. Nice!
While you back exploring Floyd again there is a lost classic that a lot of people forget. It's from obscured by clouds (1972) and the song is " free four". Very catchy song with some good Gilmore licks
Great reaction again! If you dont mind doing a longer reaction, you have to do Echoes from the same album. I listen to it at least once a day. It will send Amber into deep space!
There is an earlier Floyd song called Wots Uh the Deal that is one of their best songs. David Gilmore now plays it at his solo shows.
After listening to this, I could hear in my mind the strummed guitar chords of San Tropez, even though my albums were stolen in the late 80s and I have not replaced them (life got in the way).
This might be my all time favorite song. Ever. I love it. Thanks.
I had this played at my wedding reception.
Pink Floyd has so many great songs. A couple great ones are Lost For Words and Welcome To The Machine
My wife passed 2 weeks ago this was our favorite Floyd song. Thanks for reaction.

It was Liverpool Football Club. A professional football club based in Liverpool, England. The fans singing You’ll Never Walk Alone.
Man I had some great times listening to this track and album. Definitely feels like you are floating listening to this one.
My wife GOD BLESS HER SOUL?? An original loved so e. Thank you for the flashbacks
One of my all-time favorites! Not as widely known!!! Thanks! 😃
The chant you heard at the end is “you’ll never walk alone” sung by the might Kop
Oh she gets it she gets it sublime in her own way..
This was the album that the found themselves and where the may go after loosing their lyricist and frontman Sid. The other side of this album was one long song called Echos. Echos gave them their direction!
I don't think that you've reacted to any Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd. "See Emily Play," "Arnold Layne," "Lucifer Sam," and "Remember a Day," are probably the most accessible to modern listeners, but for those who really dig the psychedelic, there's, "Astronomy Dominé," "Let there be more Light," and "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun."
You got the football (soccer) reference, all right. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is from Rog🎉ers and Hammerstein's musical Carousel (1945). Also recorded by Sinatra and others through the '60s and '80s, it has become the anthem of Liverpool FC in the English Premier League as well as Celtic FC in Glasgow. Love the way Floyd included it, similar to the use of interview clips throughout Dark Side of the Moon. All extra words worth listening to.
