I remember Alun from his early days on UK television. Watching him now he's surely as deserving of a television audience as any other. In addition to his obvious talent, comedy seems to come naturally, a relaxed nonchalance. Notice the lack of tension or awkward pauses. No controversy, just funny.

I saw him live years ago, and being sat in the front row he naturally went for the tall balding bloke that stuck out like a sore thumb. Priceless and laughing from start to finish. Respect him even more now that he's taken a critical stance on the recent years, Good man Alun!

How about not registering to vote so they have nothing to count. This way we're not culpable in the decision making. By signing that form, you basically agree to everything they decide without referral to you. Enough is enough!

he is good on the frank Skinner radio show every week, from his commentary on that show i guessed he had more of an open mind/free thinking way and this had proved me right, Sadly this means he will be replaced with a member of the correct pc brigade and Frank while being funny will chase the socialist establishment he longs to be with ! , keep it up Alun. I hear also he well into his martial arts so dont mess with him or head butt him !

Good question. I've noticed Alun's creeping centerism on the FS Show over the last few months. As it happens I think he may be okay. Frank, himself, seems sceptical of modern political correctness and occasionally says things that wouldn't pass on the BBC. Emily, it seems to me, is outwardly woke enough to fit in with the London comedy crowd she hangs on to, but she strikes me as too strong-minded to fall for the excesses of social justice. I put her in the same bracket as Jimmy Carr, Ricky Gervais, Jonathan Ross et al. In reality they recognise bullshit when they see it, but they've learned to keep their true opinions to themselves for the sake of their careers.

@@JONDUCK1 It would be very encouraging if he was OK there; he is at his best on the FS show. And you're right, FS is not afraid at times to rock to woke boat - see him live a couple of times. I think ED is very funny too but once said that she could never go out with anyone who wasn't a socialist. AC has been quite open about not being totally anti-Trump too on the FS show.

I get the impression she's not *that* left wing, at least nowadays. I know someone's inner circle doesn't necessarily reflect them exactly but she is very good friends with the likes of Matt Forde and Jonathan Ross who seem pretty typical centre/centre-left London types, and I get the sense that she probably sides with that, whilst not being particularly polemical? I might be wrong.

If you dont want to hear about my faith then Id appreciate you keep your ideas to yourself. Then we can respectfully agree to disagree in a harmonious manner. Don't attack the existence of my faith then claim its me who doesnt want to be friends. Beyond that, another example of my views is that I am pro free markets but not pro capitalism (crony capitalism). Problem is that I cannot side with the lefts approach to this issue or their communist ideals. There is an honest and intelligent approach to greed and corruption but the lefts approach is based purely on anger and hatred. They want to destroy rather than repair.
