oh man ive been trying to learn this for my one year song. finding the tabs is a bit flawed did you learn this by ear? it sounds amazing my ears stuggle still to learn by ear unfortunately at 50 things start to decrease lol

Yea pretty much by ear. I mix in my own personal way of playing it along with Jason and James’s way of playing.

Very nice bass line. If im correct you dont go lower than B (1st fret). And the lowest important note you hit is C#. Is that correct or do you play the open A# somewhere? I think this could be played in B standard tuning if im right.

@@bassican7 I hear and see that the lowest important note you hit it C# on the low string. Sometimes you hit B on the low string. But I never hear or see you use A#. But you say you do use the low A# note?

This bass tab is very close to what you are playing. But also here, they never hit the low A#. That makes it possible to play the song in standard tuning. tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/alter-bridge/blackbird-bass-757643

Just seems sloppy/choppy from what I remember, normally there's a reason for that and it was just a assumption, didn't realise everyone is a snowflake lol
