    I just received my v3, the thinner armour in the arms is way more comfortable than the v2. The added stretch fits an athletic body very well.

    Meredith Palmer was wearing pelvic CE-Level 1 armor. If only she sprung for the CE-Level 2, she never would have had that fracture, she really should pay more attention to her safety. Also that's what she said @ 6:33

  • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    4 жыл бұрын

    The overall cut, design and armor included are the main differences between the Viper and T-GP. Both AIR versions however, will ventilate just about the same on those hotter days. We like the new T-GP Plus R v3 Air Jacket though because of the newer/slimmer armor Alps is using. • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    3 жыл бұрын

    The biggest factor will be your chest measurement, we find if you line that up, everything else will fall into place nicely based on the size chart. That said, this jacket does run a bit tight, so if you are between sizes I would suggest the larger option. I hope that helps! -Zack

    Is the shoulder and elbow armor removable?

  • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    4 жыл бұрын

    Yes, it just sits in a pocket that you would need to remove. Keep in mind, Alpinestars hides these armor pockets under their mesh liner so you need to go through the zippered hole on the inside of the lower/back of the jacket to access it. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat

    Is the Alpinestars T-GP Plus R V3 Air Jacket Tech-Air 5 compatible?

  • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes, the Tech Air 5 doesn't need to integrate with the jacket so you can wear whatever riding jacket you would like, including the T-GP Plus R v3 Air. You just need to make sure it has enough room for the deployment to take place from either a sizing perspective, or from the jacket's built in stretch panels.

    @@Uglykidcid808 That indicates that the jacket came out after the Tech Air 5 and has enough stretch built in to factor in the deployment. Its not a requirement for using the TA5 system with a jacket, just a marketing touch point Astars adds in.

  • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    4 жыл бұрын

    The washing instruction for each jacket is going to be unique for each material. If you check the tags inside the jacket they should show the washing pictograms specific to your jacket and how to proceed. Outside of that, there is no real harm in a light hand washing with damp cloth or baby shampoo and hanging it to dry if you can't find the specific instructions from Alps.
