One of my absolute favorites

The transition between cgi and real wolf is actually pretty good, you could still tell it's cgi but you still get that sense of how real they got it close to the real one.

All you people think this movie is so great and none of it is scientifically accurate at all. I was reading a article in scientific America and scientists literally raise wolves and dogs from pups to 10 years later and they can't be domesticated. Scientists have no idea how our ancestors pulled this off. The studies that seem to work were a lot more brutal for the wolves. They think generations of wolves were tied up to guard their camps. To move them they would've had to beat and tied up. They would've been stuck in one place guarding a camp until the camp moved their entire for life generations.

No doubt. There was a "live or die" type of mentality in almost everything we did back then. Now we do things to "try to make things better" but find out 20 years later that what we've been doing has been damaging the planet/ecosystems the whole time & making things worse...
