When you are alone (or not alone) I hope you sleep with you camper door locked, and also have some protection within easy reach..and I'm not talking about condoms. If you happen upon a cougar in the forests (or one happens upon you), as long as you keep eye contact with him (look him in the eyes) you should be okay.. cougars almost always only charge from behind, not face to face. Yell at him, back away slowly...do not show him your back and do not crouch down.

The area around MT Hood is one of my absolute favorites. I also like to state my enjoyment of your camper. Tents have a time and place. But for traveling all over the area and erratic weather, a camper can't be beat.

That looked like a very relaxing way to camp! I'm so glad that that one piece of bacon made up for the fish and pork chops!🤭You are, for sure, an awesome cook!🧄🧅🥓🥚🍚🍳🍜Waking up cozy and hearing the rain falling at your window, was definitely the way to go!👍 Enjoy the fall!🤗🏞☕

Tip. Make sure the towel is wet/damp towel. A Dry towel can still move around. That is what we did with our cutting boards in the restaurant I worked at. I recommend a dedicated towel just for that.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy the pace of your videos. Being able to hear just your footsteps as you approach the lake is a what I'm here for, combined with perfect music and the right amount of dialogue. I am living through you right now, and I hope to be able to do this in the future: just go out to nature and be able to sit and sleep in pure silence. Thank you so much!

Some fish eggs can stick to animals, especially wading and flying birds. When these creatures visit other bodies of water, they can bring these eggs with them. A small percentage of eggs of some fish from the carp family can survive being eaten by birds, going through their digestive systems to get out the other end into another lake. These eggs can still be in the ovaries of the swallowed fish. Sometimes animals, mostly birds, accidentally drop in flight their prey of fish into another lake.

Just an FYI, if you fish, you should try to wear dark browns and greens, as it allows you to blend in with the nature around you - along with putting out "feed" as we call it here in the UK, putting out some bait before going to fish for them.

I think that is an extremely large pilot light. You should check with the manufacturer to be sure it is set properly. The more heat that is on the thermocouple, the faster it will burn out. It is the probe that is in the flame. As little as you use the heater, "it", the thermocouple, should last for years and years. But, the pilot light is consuming a lot of gas right by itself. If you had a flame that big under a two cups of hot water and a cup of white rice in a pot, you could cook it in 20 minutes. I always enjoy your videos. Getting to see places that I may never see in person is always a pleasure and a good incentive to get the lead out and travel a bit.
