And I can't get into the "rocker" Carrie, it does not suit her at all. I don't care for it, she looks so awkward. Carrie is very beautiful and obviously very talented and I like many of her songs but to me the country music genre suits her perfectly. Just my thoughts and opinions, we're all different and entitled to our own, and that's okay.🙂✌

Nothing compares to when she sang this on American Idol. She looked so innocent and shy talking about why she chose the song, so to walk out and just kill it with her rock and roll voice was amazing.

Nobody expects Carrie to sound like Ann Wilson. The song is big for Carrie in a different way. After singing primarily country songs in her first 2 American Idol performances, Carrie changed it up and sang Alone for her 3rd performance. Not only did she nail the song but many feel this performance is what won her American Idol and the amazing career that she still enjoys today. It may not be her song but for fans that have been with Carrie since Idol, Alone is the song her time on the show is most recognized with.
