They are therefore bad cops. What do you think the blue line gang mentality is all about? It's called organized crime, done under the color of law while armed with firearms no less. I Agree 💯💯💯!! A cop lied to get away with break checking me with no probable cause or warning which resulted in my accidentally rear ending him at less than 5 mph. I had a perfect driving record and he still gave me a ticket and blamed everything on me. That same department on that day also beat me up when I stupidly called them back for moral support.

That makes no sense. A police officer leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. She should be charged with stupidity. And fired.

There ARE certain instances where someone under the age of 16, without a valid driver's license, can indeed drive. Usually specified on a document from point A to point B, and ONLY between those two. When I took drivers training, one of the kids in my driver's ed class DROVE, alone, to the class. He had special paperwork granted by the government to allow him to do so. Having said all that, this cops kid was driving illegally, the mom cop lied, and she should lose her job and the ability to be hired as law enforcement ever again.

How in good conscience can any police chief condone and substantiate having someone like this still employed as a LEO? Isn’t *lying* a bit of a conflict of interest in this profession? Going forward, how could any judge or jury ever believe or trust any evidence she could testify to in court? 😳

If you want to trust them as well, when the other party involved in the crash can not defend himself/herself because they he/she is deceased, that's up to you. Me, personally, I don't believe any LEO unless there is corroborating video evidence. And even then, I want to know what led up to any incident.

If he had his temps, he needs a licensed driver over 21 with him. If the accident was not the teen's fault, he should've taken his charges for underage driving alone, and momcop should've let him take responsibility. He left the scene and now the coverup may get both charges and mom fired.

But wait… an underage driver leaving a crash could be understandable. The teen could panic. But how does an experienced decorated police officer not prevent her son from fleeing the scene IF she was in the vehicle? To me, either she is lying about being in the car - a felony. Or she was a party to leaving the scene/hit & run - a felony. Only thing to be debated is is the prosecutor going to give preferential treatment and reduce the charges? Which is what pisses the public off. So sick of the fact that cops rarely even get charged, but then if they do, it’s always some ridiculously light charge and sentencing.
