Ahh this would break my heart like Crisis Core but it would give me an opportunity to revisit Spira which I would not say no to :)

Cool video! Had a few close calls there but it all worked out in the end. I remember cheesing this and the other endgame fights using monsters with only quick hit.

Working on this now and glad to see it's doable with AS. I never would have thought to use White Mage for Vigor, I think that might work better than Autolife/Full Cure

There's a video out there that discusses how x takes place in ff7s past. In Barretts hideout in ff7,on the TV there's a news channel with sin on it. Also,On ff7 they use the spheres for materia. But on ffx they use them for the sphere grid. Plus both of the world Maps look kinda similar. I do like the theory that they're different planets but same universe

how to get all those auto abilities like critical and double all, total limit break n others? i haven't beaten almighty shinra still weak, yet read a few walkthroughs n vids, i made a mistake where the weak goons are now in cups( forgot name) which give smooth sailing and the ex crimson team are giving me a hard time. i read to get the anyeater( nt sure if that the name) after catching amazing chocobo. it has 200+ speed at lv 95 , can beat almighty shinra. So will start that this week. i use nooj, logo and chocobo lv 80 at the moment. Since smooth sailing would take a longer time to get thought go get the anyeater first.

Abilities: -Vigor comes from equipping the White Mage dressphere. It can also be taught with 3 Turbo Ethers, but that appears to not be the strategy here. -Haste comes from 5 Chocobo Feather items. -Clione is an innate ability unique to Almighty Shinra Auto Abilities -Ailment Def and Total Limit Break come on Almighty Shinra (and many other bosses - most large creatures can learn total limit break by taking a powerful move like Ultima) (If I don't say "equipped", then I mean using the Creature menu to feed items or accessories to the creature in order to learn abilities) -One MP Cost comes from 8 Three Stars items, supposedly, which you get by bribing Omega Weapon. (Conversely, if you have a Ragnarok accessory you can burn, Spellspring should also work nicely) -Magic Booster comes from the Soul of Thamasa accessory -Turbo White Magic comes from equipping the White Mage dressphere -Critical comes from equipping the Peerless Garment Grid -Double All comes from equipping Key to Success I know I'm probably 6 years late, but....hope you figured things out!

@@rashkavar thanks for the info it might help people who are playing it currently. Yeah I totally beat him 6 yrs ago. Now I feel like playing it again on my ps5.

Not sure if you're still keeping up on this, but is there a reason to do One MP Cost over Spellspring? Or did you just have more Three Stars than spare Ragnaroks? As someone who doesn't use bribe much/at all, I have literally never had Three Stars in this game.

Honestly never heard of spellspring until today o.O. I just looked it up and Im thinking I didn’t even know about it which is why I have 1 MP Cost. I used to be a champ at this game and I’m going to start recording these again soon but my elgato 4k is currently down :( im in the process of sending it out for repair.

​@@MrBlackChocobo Ah, cool. One of the really nice things about Spellspring is it makes MP literally irrelevant - even if you get knocked to 0 MP you can still sling magic like there's no tomorrow. Hope your elgato repairs go well! If you need it, I have a guide posted on Steam that compiles the effects of feeding items and accessories to creatures as well as equipping garment grids and dresspheres. (I'm currently doing a 100% item/accessory collection run so I can verify everything, some entries are from the 4-5 different sources I had to use because nobody had compiled a comprehensive list like that when I started the project. And to get Enterprise, I need to either push Tobli into an elevator on a NG+ or kill Major Numerus, and killing one of the most murderous superbosses in Final Fantasy history is honestly easier than getting Tobli into that dang elevator.)

@@rashkavar at least that tobli part is only in chapter 2. You can blow through that in about half an hour on ng+, especially with 10 iron dukes and everything else, so if you somehow mess up (like I apparantly did my first two times through), it's not a big loss to restart ng+ again.

clione scales off str and lvl then im assuming? my AS is only in the 60s and take way less with 255 on all stats

Clione goes off strength so that should be 255. Not sure if Double All from Keys to Success is able to bypass the innate 255 limit like certain items/abilities in previous ff games.

Not if your entire party dies. You need to defeat the whole thing in order to win anything.

If one or more heads do the full death animation (rearing up then burn away), you have a chance of getting an iron duke drop. Usually they will drop in multiples of 5. Even if you die

RazKiller7 the lower you lower the stars the less damage and the creature will be defensive to heal etc . When 5 star it means they have high attack and will attack with full offence :) thanks for commenting !

There are some relations to support this fan theory to be honest. Shinra (FFx2) discusses using the farplane as energy which can be related to the lifestream in FFVII. Also IIRC in FF7 remake in the shinra building I believe there’s a small image with Shinra (FFX2) on it. Could be an Easter egg but nothing super concrete I can say.
