@GIBBO4182 The reason Madueke and Jackson were even fighting over the ball in the first place is because Palmer was still laying down injured in the corner of the penalty box after his Achilles was stomped on. Palmer was down on the ground for over a minute. Something nobody is even mentioning. Context is important.

That incident was nuts. This originated with Pochettino allowing Sterling and others fight with Palmer and Poch did not sort it out, instead he encouraged it! That incident last night is exactly why you do not encourage it. Looks like the coach learned his lesson. Palmer was the one who was fouled, Madueke was not fouled yet I think he thought he was and the camera swung over and found him and Jackson arguing over who will take it. Palmer was fouled anyways so Madueke was complete off the mark. Then at the spot, Palmer was demanding the ball and Noni didn't want to give it up to where Gallagher, the Captain, made him give it up (similar to how Enzo did to Sterling months ago) to where it looked like it was going to be hesitantly sorted out until Jackson dashed in trying to snatch the ball from Palmer, ignoring his captain and starts arguing like a petulant child. The stadium was booing him and yet he continued to argue before the penalty, after the penalty and after the game finished. To think Palmer is in a Golden Boot race, was on 3 goals, you'd have thought his teammates would have been at least trying to help him win the Golden Boot! Absolutely selfish behaviour by both Madueke and Jackson, embarrassing and needlessly piling on pressure for their teammate to score with all that arguing. If Chelsea did not have Palmer, good grief lol. This kid is spectacular.

If I was a manager, that behaviour would put me off signing either of those two players for my club. I'd want men playing for me, not infants.

9:15 Ally and Deli Ali last night both saying they didn't see anyone stepping up to take the last minute pen against Man Utd, but Mudueke absolutely DID try and snatch the ball against united in the final minute, there's footage of it on KZread with Chalobah having to pull him away at the time. I thought that was absolutely DISGUSTING behaviour from Madueke in that game. What a terrible and selfish team mate to distract and put that level of pressure on Palmer in the final minute of that game when he should be being encouraged and allowed to focus and be calm with the match result on the line, so to see him do it again last night was really poor, and he should have the book thrown at him by Poch!! To anyone saying that Madueke won the pen, it doesn't work like that!! Palmer is the taker and you accept the team instructions and follow them!! It's a lack of respect and discipline to go against it for your own selfishness. Why reward his attitude against Man Utd by letting him do it again against Everton..... 6-0 win, finally something to cheer about at Stamford Bridge after 2 years and all the headlines are stolen by Madueke and Jackson behaving like kids in a playground!!! They should apologise to fans!!

Think Poch got distracted with the win, against Utd to pick up on it, which is not a good look for how he is managing the team. Noni thinks if he is bought down, the pen is for him, he did not argue with Palmer for the first pen against Utd

FYI. Palmer won the pen, and the referee played the advantage which there was none so that’s y he back the play.

All these talented wide players on fire this season and Southgate will still leave one out in favour of Rashford 😡

The fact that Gareth had Palmer in the last squad and didnt play him, cant see him goin to Euros. Arguably better than Saka on the RW, but probably the most intelligent player in the English squad. He might not play LW but if he did 100% be better than rashford. Could play at 10 as well. Gareth probably see him as being too similar to Foden. Definitely take him over Maddison, wont be injured and can take a pen.

Yep - sadly took a lot of the gloss of our best performance of the season when we actually looked a half decent team - I should also mention that having a half decent goalie has made a massive difference to the defence. Saw Sanchez in goal against Leicester and he was truly shocking.

Both are outwardly white but they actually have very immediate black heritage. Both of them have siblings who you can outwardly tell are black. Both Palmer and McNeil had the white genes dominate (phenotype) even though their genotype has very immediate black ancestry.

Nothing unusual. If I was Cole I’d allow Madueke take the penalty. That’s leadership, something both Gallagher and Cole need.
