I appreciate that you mention the overall quality and provide pictures, that's enough for me to get an idea of the general food game on any particular ship. I am following along. I am on this cruise in April. I am on this excursion too. Mine does say catamaran. The lunch looks yummy.

I think what people are wanting is to see you eat the food and then comment on it. But as you say you are not food critics. You know you can’t make everyone happy, so good job not trying! It can get exhausting, take it from a reformed people pleaser! Love your vlogs, they are great! Dee talking to the fish to Jay’s sock of the day! Can’t wait for the next one. Ok That is funny. People complain that you don't talk enough about the food?? Well, I vlog about the food and guess what they request more of? Guess. They request more venues... And there questions are always about the activities! So there you go. This is proof that no matter what type of content you have... some people will need to keep on looking. I'm sure KZread loves that we are all so different, you know? Otherwise people would probably get off KZread after 1 video. :) I think everyone should do what they are interested in. I love your content by the way. Keep showing the ports and venues. I love it!

Yeeeah, we try to show a little bit of everything, but not a whole lot of any one thing, ha ha... :P

I took this tour about 3 or 4 years ago and really enjoyed it. Good to see that it is still operating after the cruise industry reopened. Only complaint was I didn't realize the black sand was a bad combination with my new orange bathing suit. I was never able to get it completely cleaned. Also. Your Hamilton humor was hilarious 😂

Been anticipating this vlog of your Allure trip. We had to cancel our NYE cruise that included the same excursion to Nevis. Glad to live vicariously. We've rescheduled the Allure, but not the same itinerary. We'll make it to Nevis one day. Until then, thank you! ❤

I loved your video. I was suppose to go to St. Kitts twice and it got canceled. That lunch looked delicious! The next time I plan to go to St. Kitts I would want to do the same excursion. OMG, we were on the Allure in October, and that same lady was jamming every port day and also every night at dinner. Were on Deck 3, I think, for dinner. :) We loved her!

Looks like a fantastic day! So, with Dee loving to snorkel like she does, when are you going to do a cruise to Hawaii? I lived on Oahu for over 3 years and the amount of ocean life you can see (without having to get in the ocean) is a lot! Thanks for sharing :)

We had one booked for this month, but canceled it due to too many moving parts and too many things that could go wrong right now, hah... we'll get one set up again in a couple of years, I'm sure!! :P

Have you ever tried to do this type of excursion on your own. Thereby meaning taking the Ferry to and from on your own on these islands? Or do you recommend not doing the ferry on your own.

We haven’t, though it seems like it would be perfectly fine. The ferry system appears to run from that same marina using the same boats, hah. I’m not sure how you might hire someone on the other end to drive you around to see all the sights on Nevis though. It’s an interesting idea for sure!! :D

I'm eyeing the Nevis and Lunch Tour for our cruise in March, so this was perfect! I assume Dee has her own snorkel gear that she travels with? Looks like no fins, which will save a lot of room. I might just pack my swim socks and goggles. I'm guessing the French Onion Soup is pretty good, because I think this is the third time I've seen it in Jay's MDR selections. :) Very fun vlog, thank you!

Yes, as much as Dee snorkels, we always pack her set, and she says her feet are big enough that she doesn't need fins in most cases, ha ha... I'd say Carnival and Royal have my favorite French Onion soup thus far... it's good!! :P ~Jay

Really enjoyed your videos. I’m scared to snorkel (basically ocean in general) I actually bought the same gear you did and will give it a try. Question: have u ever seen a shark during your open snorkel??

Good question! As long as she doesn't move her lips too much, it doesn't cause any leakage. It's sort of like a ventriloquist talking while not moving their mouth too much, but underwater, ha ha... :P ~Jay

@@parodeejay Hehe, and here we see the advantage of using your own snorkel gear vs rental gear! A poor fitting mouthpiece (too big, too small...) would result in a lot of choking and gurgling when trying to breathe, let alone talk underwater!

Underwater? I know Dee saw some of those floaty yellow fish that never seem to swim much, just hanging out in clusters. And there were some nice bright yellow coral structures also!! :D

We haven't done a ton of the "normal" specialty restaurants yet like Chops, Jamie's/Giovannis, etc. but we're hoping to check some out in the future. We've done Izumi which was good, and Wonderland which was unique, ha ha... We've had Chops food as part of The Key program, but that's as close as we've gotten so far!! :P
