Just finished re-watching the series again, was like being reunited with old friends. I distinctly remember when I was a kid watching the show on a Saturday with my grandparents. Wonderful show, and glad to see them together again.

"I'll just ask a few questions and then..." "WE ASK ZE QUESTIONS!!"

Nice to see Herr Flick using his special Gestapo microphone! Helga still looks lovely, and Hubert Gruber lost his little tank!!

From the very first [pilot] episode, I was hooked. I just knew that the series was going to be a tremendous success. When you have a writer of the calibre of David Croft with a string of hit shows behind him like, Dad's Army, Hi de Hi!, Ain't Half Hot Mum & You Rang M'Lord, it's obvious that its not going to be a disappointment... And it most certainly wasn't. Loved it!

I think that it is all very respectful actually. I'm Jewish, and hold no grudges against Germany whatsoever. "Forgive them, for they know not what they do". Allo Allo kind of embraces this. Fine actors playing out the roles of German military figures who haven't a clue what they're doing

I always thought when Helga laughs because of the dirt from the exploding coffin it was a blooper that they just left in

She was very busy, blowing up "zee" railway line , but she did it only once !

Guy Siner or Lt. Gruber, has always been my favourite. He is an absolute master of comedic timing and his acting skills are fantastic. I was actually surprised to hear him talk without a German accent! Thank you so much for so many hours of fabulous entertainment, Guy and all the cast. 🥰

Carry on from last comment:- Fine actors who play military figures, who don't really understand what's going on but also individualy showing a human side too. It is also VERY touching that the actor, Guy Sinner, in this interview, wears a poppy of rememberance on his costume German officers uniform. 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍

No Arthur the English policeman that spoke bad French. I did love the show, first, second and numerous other times around. Great actors and great fun, would never be made in these woke dope times.

@@heliusfengari We did not even use the stupid word back in the 1980s. We were a lot braver than now with snowflakes and woke dopes. There was no fear of being offensive, event the Germans bought the show and laughed.

Should we really be promoting and listening to the views of Nazis?

None of them had any success after allo allo unfortunately

So sad to see them all old and washed up.
