One of my favorite Dickey Betts Songs loved this version of the ABB. Dickey wrote this song about his time with his ex wife Sandy Bluesky who was Naitive American. He changed some of the wording to make it more appealing to more people. He sang about the Blue Sky rather than a woman he loved. But he new and most diehards know it was about his ex wife. Regardless of that its a beautiful song with Dickey's tone and the meshing of the twin guitars together.

agree, missed out on Duane, but saw a couple of shows at the beacon during this period. mind-blowing. don't forget Gregg. he was a survivor. RIP Brothers...
Dickie Betts R.I.P. thanks for the music. I grew up with you and the Allman Bros. Thanks to K-SHE/95,real rock radio for playing you all .
RIP Dickey Betts.. Making a great addition to the great band in the stars playing the music of the cosmos! Rest Easy
RIP, Dickie Betts. jammin' with the Brothers again, filling the Heavens with southern rockin' blues.
Glad warren is still around
Dickey, you'll be missed. Such an awesome talent. Glad I got to see you several years ago!
what a track..unbelievable playing by both dicky and warren!!!!!! .miss duane
Incredible solos! The rhythm stuff dickey is doing behind hayne’s first slide solo is magical

Dickey is one of the greatest rhythm players ever. No doubt about it. His rhythm playing is really what makes his solos so great because even they themselves are extremely rhythmic as well. Dickey is one of the few players that could play a 3 minute solo that you can hum every note to for years to come. So melodic it's insane.

RIP Dickey. Thanks for the amazing Jive. Soar now brother. 🎸👍
They sounded really nice in the early 1990's... could have done with another four years of that line-up and quality.

Warren a young gun slinger lettin it fly, I think this when he was on top of his game, with Allen Woody who in his own right was a phenom.
This is a good version but the live performance in Germany around the same time is smokin' hot

Warren makes that slide look just like another digit. He gives a great lesson on slide right in this recording... Thanks you guys for all the music...Blessings, Ed

The song didn't have slide originally and doesn't need it. Warren should have stuck to fretted lead for that song, Duane did.
