This took years for a group of skilled modders to make. If we put every mod that should have been part of the base game into the game, it would have taken years more to release. While mods are fantastic, and add a lot, its only reasonable to say that while the game could have, and should have been done better in certain areas, that it was impossible to think of everything.

@@nuclearsimian3281 I get what you’re saying; but after having seen what other triple A studios are able to put into their game in terms of details, I can’t help but feel content like this should have been in the game in the first place. I wouldn’t say this is that hard to think of, I think the idea behind the mod is what devs should have thought about when creating the final confrontation. ME3 was definitely rushed; and I think that’s why the game lacked those “finishing touches”.

@@nuclearsimian3281 Thats a bad argument tbh. The modders did not work fulltime or with their own source code. It's a lot harder to mod someone elses compiled work than add it in from the beginning. They shoudl have invested more in the end, but ea fucked them over. As usual.

@@nuclearsimian3281 funny thing is, bioware themselves actually did that thing, in Dragon Age Origins. So feature like that especially with the game set-up would be something obvious to do. But regardless, we got what we got.

They had so many possibilities to include not just Geths in our squad. Mass Effect 3 was rushed and they didn't use their same ideas. It's incredibly stupid.

My head canon is, they were created to stop synths from wiping out organic life, they got to the reaping stage, noticed on this timescale that, omg organics were accelerating the cooling/expansion/tearing apart of spacetime with their biotics and mass effect technology and decided the only way to solve this was to iterate through organics in a safe, controlled environment where each cycle could advance a bit more without causing more damage than previous cycles. Eventually, hopefully, they would advance far enough to develop a solution to the dark energy problem and travel between galaxies to spread the word, thus preventing the premature death of the universe. The crucible, as it turns out, with it's ability to bring the entire collective knowledge of all reapers to bare, synthesizing organics and synthetics would be just the "Catalyst" needed to reach that conclusion. Would have made the reapers seem far more like the noble, brutal experimentalists they should have been than dumb, robot lice.

THIS is what should've happened. I made peace between the quarians and the geth for a reason, but no ME3 just threw that off the window. I just love how these mods make Priority Earth feel more epic and like an intense war, they also show every ally you've gathered on the battle field with you.

That's what I alwasys missed in the base game. WHERE ARE THE GETH PRIMES DROPPING FROM ORBIT OVER THE REAPER FORCES!? The answer: In the "Priority Earth Overhaul Mod"

They should have included these moments in the re-release, imagine the krogan charge, the quarien bombardment, this is the best mod west of the citadel

omg. this clip left a question in my head. "What happens if you can't reach Vega?" omg... did bioware actually cut the risk of losing companions out? regardless, I need this in my no life.

This reminds me of the Battle for Denerim in Dragon Age Origins where you have the option to summon reinforcements you've gathered at specific areas in the battle, it was so cool because these were forces you've been collecting throughout the story

I didn't realize the vanilla Geth Prime were voiced by Legion's VA

There's also the OP "M-11 Suppressor" which is an ultimate destruction device that, combined with armor-piercing rounds and damage armor build, allows you to mow down crowds of enemies SOLO in any class. Even harvesters can't handle a single magazine - you just find time to pick up thermalclips (sry for my goolge language)

Insanity in me3 isn't difficult. If you know how to min max powers and chain detonations shepherd can become disgustingly op. I ran Sentinel with James for incindiary ammo and liara for her biotic passives. So first you prime an incendiary detonation with your gun, then hit them with warp wich detonates the incendiary combo whilst priming them for a biotic combo wich you then detonate with throw and then rinse and repeat. Brutes will melt like snowflakes and you will chew through harvesters like they're made of tissue paper. For banshees you take warp ammo as your bonus power, slap it on hit her with warp and GG the rest of her life bar away with some good ol fashioned Dakka.

Why didn't they do that? I would have loved a Priority: Earth where if you made the best choices, you got reinforcement after reinforcement and if you didn't, you had the fight of your life getting to the conduit.

Bioware ran out of time to finish ME3, and what you got in vanilla was a placeholder mission just so that they could ship the game. I suspect they were going to overhaul it post-release, but the outcry over the ending shifted their priorities once EC was announced to be free. Sauce: Am author of the above mod :P

Awesome!! I wish we could see a unit of rouge-Cerberus squad helping Shepard. Trooper, Engineer, Atlas etc.

Heres how the official game should have looked like. Instead all the squadmates and the choises you make turns in simple numbers... awesome mod! Never knew ME mods can compare to DA:O mods (in the matter of making the game feel improved)

I agree! And Bioware knows how to do it. In Dragon Age: Origins you could call in your allies (and specify which ones you wanted) in the final battle. It felt like it wasn't in vain and awesome when dwarves ran in to help you. Or Dalish helped to defend the Alienage.

@@Bobby3OOO Origins can be a bit tricky as it barely runs on newer hardware let alone with mods. Origins doesn't like to be touched. It's still worth modding though if you have the time and patience. Inquisition on the other hand as far as I know will run well. The downside is it doesn't have any mod manager support so any mods you download will have to be manually.

Right from the first time I played ME3 I knew/hoped this would happen. Can't wait to try it.

After playing for the very first time with updated mods for the LE, there is no way I would back to the vanilla experience ever🤷‍♂️

Our numerous beacons provide the ability for multiple, simultaneous, and devastating DEEP STRIKES! The Codex Astartes names this maneuver, STEEL RAIN!

This will make our effort 10x more satisfying.

Author here. Guys, there's literally no reason to play LE3 instead of the OG ME3. No reason whatsoever. It's the exact same game, except the LE version has a ton of new gameplay, visual, audio and story bugs. Which actually makes it a downgrade if you think about it. The texture upscales are mediocre at best, and a version of ALOT was already released for the LE -- which I think is peak irony.

This mod is the literal only reason I might want to play Mass Effect on PC

these details not only make choices more relevant, but also, give the impression that this was no ordinary fight that Shepard´s squad could win on their own. As it should be It´s sad that the mod community cares more about the game that the creators themselves. Especially when we consider that they´ve just released the remasted, and completely wasted the opportunity

Not only is it a wasted opportunity, the LE version of ME3 is literally a downgrade. There are almost no improvements (only some minor cutscene fixes which anyone can do in under a minute using modding tools) and none of the old bugs have been fixed, except on top of that you have a mountain pile of brand new bugs. Incredible.

This would have been awesome to see Geth helping us

We work extremely hard to get every alliance possible, I can't believe their didn't add this in the original mass effect games, andromeda is the exception since we get to fight with our allies in the last battle.

They DEFINITELY need to remake this for Legendary Edition!

Side note: Why does youtube warn people about so-called "bullying" posts but fail to tell you which post offended their sensibilities? People who regularely post misinformation get offended when you correct them and they report you, and then KZread becomes the bully.

Now all you need is a mod to get rid of that yee yee ass haircut.

Seriously if there was a mod where you can hotswap to a squadmate like Liara, James, Tali and so on and use them in the 360 version Multi-player style. That would be so fucking cool.

Amazing! I hope some of the voice acting is replaced. What this overhaul is doing deserves 100% immersion and some of the fanrecorded voicelines just don't cut it, sadly.

Many awesome mods are still in the works for the LE, the closest one to this nowdays, is the Take Earth Back mod, which is great, but the Overhaul mod have even more adds and goes further trying to patch up the lackluster narrative and events despicted in the base game🤷‍♂️.

Would’ve been cool if they added it into the game kind of like in dragon age when you recruited your allies and you could summon them for the final battle to help out. Would’ve made recruiting seem less tedious

Please tell me that you were able to do the reverse as well. The campaign missions where you are fighting Reaper forces simply have to also include abominations and scions and praetorians.
