No he’s not. He’s more than 10 years removed, and he’s talking from his own arrogant POV. These guys have all the resources and support one can ask for. They choose to ignore it. And if he wanted help or solutions, he can ask. Even Gil talking about being in the club when the lights come on and the party is over, and he didn’t learn that he shouldn’t be doing this until his late 20s when a body guard told him? That’s just stupid.

I don't think you got the gist of what is being explained from gil. Common sense has no place here cause there is nothing Common about being a superstar who's feeling untouchable. If you could get almost any girl, buy anything you want and do almost anything you want knowing that your him. That kind of power is like an aphrodisiac or a drug. Once you get a hit of it will usually take a fall to come to your senses. Not saying ja isn't in the wrong just say he's not the 1st young and stupid kid to be just that. Young and stupid.

FLASH a gun in public can get you shot/killed in america, especially black males ( black males are seen as a bigger threat than their non-black counter-parts )so some non-black male will think you a threat and vaporize you.
