I had been struggling emotionally due to certain things to a point that I couldn't even focus at school. One day after coming home depressed still, I just had this random thought of opening the Quran out of nowhere. I read about 1 juz that day and I felt something. Since then I started reciting the Quran for about 30 mins each day. This also helped me get my daily prayers together, and alhamdulilah I feel much happier than I have every had before. To those brothers/sisters struggling in life, know that it's part of life and that yes you indeed can move on with the help of Allah.

I have been scarred by traumatic pain by people in my life in a state which I am suffering every day in my life..my heart feels it's been ripped out I was mentally tortured for every second of the day for long time only Allah intervened during that time and he proved everything about the shameless people who tortured accused me wrongly I am still recovering from flashbacks during this experience Allah has made my iman so much stronger allahumdillah and I know at the end Allah will reward me blessings for my sabr tawakul.... and my oppressors will not be successful anymore because Allah sent me a message in my dream an ayat has been revealed on torture...the torture of Allah has been reserved for the unbelievers... may Allah guide us all to righteous path Ameen

Sonja Teal Then create a relationship with Allah, start praying, if you already pray, try praying your Sunnah prayers as well, if you do that, then maintain your daily Dhikr, make duas, wake up like 20 minutes before Fajr and ask Allah of whatever you want, pray to Him, May Allah keep you firm!

Brother i m been depressed for whole year,my heart is broken down into pieces and I don't feel any happiness anymore. i pray 5 times a day recite few verses of quran daily do tahjood nimaz and do zikar alot but i m continually being depressed and just want to finish my life but i got fear of allah. "Allah can intervene in your emotions" this realization changed my life and helped me a lot. We can only have sabr if Allah gives it to us. So we must ask Him. And I experienced it myself. WAllahi you get it when you ask for it. May Allah guide us to the best sabr!

How great is my allah that I was going through something similar and this video pops up in my recommendations amongst the millions of the videos on youtube...and this is how our allah communicates with us...

i have been through depression for 3 years. Never in my entire life, i could expect to get the illness, and never knew, what it was, until i got it. before that i was the happiest human, and never wanted more from life. i dont fell happiness, or feel a normal emotion when i talk to people, i want to be together with. but alhamdulillah it made me a stronger believer. i take it as test alhamdulillah.

@@Yasin-pm7jf salam aleikum brother. I have a lot better now, it lasted for 6 years. My thought about it is that everyone has a different reason why they get depression. Mine was so bad, that i don't even remember my life for 5-6 years, I feel like it was wasted years. The cause of mine was by moving from a small town to the capital of the country. I don't know your reason, but my advice is, never ever go against yourself, and don't push yourself to hard.

Yes, Allah can remove scars but we must also work towards eliminating them. Mental training and lots of dua can help us. I went through a very sad divorce, despite never imagining it could be something I could cope with, 3 years later I’m much stronger- due to the mercy and live of Allah.
