Nice clean video with a scary clean garage. I can see the boards for low slung cars are cut to short lengths. Going to snag your idea because shorter boards will be lot easier to move than one long one.I have a mid rise lift and have discovered that a 4' square moving dolly will fit under it when partially raised then when lowered it will lie flat and I can easily move it around like a big creeper.I have room to push my lift to the side against the wall out of the way when not in use so I don't have to straddle it to bring the car in.A dolly can be made out of 2x6s with 3" steel 600# capacity casters from amazon or northern tool. Casters are about $6.00 each. This lift is really handy for most of the work I do. I have had this lift for about two years and never want to go back to using jack stands. Thanks for the video.

another alternative is the QuickJack. Purchased one myself for DYI car repairs. Gives more clearance to work towards the middle of the car if you need to do exhaust work unlike the scissor lift. I have a brief vid of me using it on my channel.

Nice video! I really considered one of these. My two car garage ceiling height is 8.5 foot. I want it for oil changes, tire rotations and brake work. My concerns are when it’s professionally delivered getting it off of the truck, unboxed and into my garage. As you said it’s very heavy, 900 plus pounds I’m sure. Once in place I really have no plans to move it around, will pretty much stay in place. I see it has the dolly but I have concerns when maneuvering it around to position it. I assume you had yours delivered? If the case did they help you unload it etc..

You don’t need to take the lift arms off. Just swing them in wards and lay a 12 x 2 on each side of the table and lay your table top on them. You can screw the top down to the 12 x 2 if you want to. That’s what I did.

I tried having it shipped to my rental address that has received items as large as tractor tires for me... nope they classify them as a freight forwarder and refuse to ship it there.
